The hotel is not well set up for independent travelers during the week. There is no restaurant and food can only be purchased in a very small bar area. While we were there the bar had been taken over by a conference group for drinking and there were no tables availed for guests wanting to dine. The second night we did obtain a table but part way through our meal the bar was again over taken by a noisy drinking group. Not conducive to enjoyable dining. The room was clean and well maintained and the Lodge is in a scenic location.

Staff were ALL friendly and helpful. Room clean with everything you need for a night away. Buffet breakfast fantastic and with all the trimmings. Beautiful walk to and along the Yarra River to see pelicans and many kangaroos.

Great place to stay open 24hrs we checked in very late, great rooms, nice views. We had late breakfast in the morning and almost as everyone left we stayed behind staff was nice. At the end I wanted to make coffee wasn't sure how to use machine and what coffee Sam was absolutely amazing even though coffee that I wanted run out and it was end of breakfast time and they were all cleaning up. Sam went above and beyond to get me coffee I wanted and to show me how to make it! Amazing customer service from Sam absolutely amazing! Thank you 😊

We are currently staying at Yarra Valley Lodge for our anniversary, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff have been incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel so welcome. We were delighted to be upgraded to a beautiful garden view suite, which has immaculate rooms, super comfortable beds, and stunning views of the grounds with kangaroos grazing nearby – such a magical touch. The lodge bar has been another highlight, serving delicious food and drinks that we’ve really enjoyed. To make our stay even more special, we were gifted a complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel so valued. Thank you, Yarra Valley Lodge, for making this anniversary unforgettable. We are loving every moment and will definitely stay again in the future!

Went here for lunch on Australia day with a car club. Being inside the grounds of a golf club the views of the facilities were breathtaking. There was lots of parking the lodge being the left building and the club house being on the right. I have the $20 parma and beer special they had for Australia Day.and it was pretty good, but was on the smaller size, but could complain for $20. They did charge a $3 surcharge for public holiday.
