Horrible Experience. Me and my family went to watch the new Venom movie. We had to wait at the empty food stand for 10 minuets as there wasn't a worker. When we finally bought everything, we found out that the receipt printers were all out of paper and that took another 10 minuets. The actual cinema was awful, the seats sucked and at one point i actually felt something crawling up my leg. The AirCon didn't work and the cinema was just boiling hot. My family were one of 2 family's in the whole place, let alone our cinema. We ordered 2 popcorn and received another box for free. I ate half of my box and felt sick. It was stale and actually made me want to throw up. At the end, all of my family members agreed on how bad it was and were upset that we had to throw it out. The mall its in is completely run down and the cinema is as well. Highly suggest avoiding at all costs. I wouldn't even rate it a 1 star but you cant rate under 1 stars. If you want a better experience try Classic or go to Hoyts at Chadtsone. There at least you wont have some dirty rodent crawling up your leg.

Nice theatres. Comfy seats. Good popcorn. Great screens. Very convenient adjacent parking garage

No need to go to Village Jam Factory south Yarra to view a scary movie. The cinema precinct ITSELF IS THE SCARY PART. I was there 2.30 pm 11th October 2024. The building was deserted. I was the only patron ( yes one, just me) in cinema 6 and the heating had not been turned on. My fingers were numb. The air smells musty and dusty. I’m sure the in house rodent population is enjoying the spilled popcorn on the carpets. I understand the entire building is ripe for demolition and a rebuild. Village could consider reduced ticketing prices as the movie experience is way way unacceptably awful. Just don’t go. Choose a cinema group who gives a care. Try Palace cinemas.

This cinema is great. The parking is good and it is very accessible to all. There are escalators and elevators going up to the cinema. There are big wide open spaces down below in a small mall type courtyard area where you can get a bite to eat before or after you go to the cinema or even if you don’t. The Gold Class service here was great and the cinema was very clean and comfortable. In our experience it was on par with Chadstone or the Melbourne Central Cinema’s. Just on a smaller scale. Which can be perfect if you don’t want all the fuss of going to a bigger place.

We were shouted to Gold Class. It is hard to beat the experience! Service was good. Seating is lux. You can see Dinosaurs too. They have some good food packages too. There is entertaining art in the Gold Class foyer, too.
