Had a great date night here. Food, service and atmosphere was too notch. Also much better value for money than others along Southbank. Even got to watch the end of the footy in the bar after and enjoy the Pies coming home for the win!

Visited Ludlow Bar & Dining Room recently and had a mixed experience. The riverside setting was lovely—sitting outside by the Yarra with fire lamps keeping things warm was definitely a highlight. I ordered the roast chicken, which unfortunately came out quite dry and seemed overcooked. That said, the sides accompanying it were well-prepared and helped round out the dish. I paired it with a glass of port—always a safe bet—but the glass itself was sticky, which should’ve been wiped before serving. Service was polite but sporadic; at times it felt like we’d been forgotten, though the staff were courteous when they did check in. Overall, Ludlow has a great location and atmosphere, but the attention to detail could use a little tightening up. Would consider returning for drinks and the view, but probably not for the food.

For the food price and the portion sizes I think you can make up your own mind. Tables left uncleared and dirty for quite a while even tho there is enough staff. Unfortunately it's the food that seems to let this place down

Feedback for Ludlow, Southbank Our Awesome 4 Team dined at Ludlow last night and had a fantastic experience overall. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the food and wine were absolutely delightful beautifully presented and full of flavour. The service was attentive and friendly, which really added to the evening. While the venue was quite crowded and the music a bit loud for easy conversation across the table, the team handled everything impressively. Despite the busy environment, our meals were served promptly and with care. Thank you for a memorable night — we’ll definitely be back!

Loved the experience with family, they were able to cater to a group booking of 20 people, we requested terrace seating overlooking the cityscape and river which made for a wonderful dining experience. They had heaters which kept it cosy and great lighting. The food was amazing we had a variety of dishes, our favourites were the lamb shank, lamb shoulder and the ribs. The service we received was excellent. Overall I would recommend Ludlow Bar & Dinning.
