I was pretty disappointed with my stay at QT Melbourne, especially given the brand’s reputation. The biggest issue was the bedding. The sheets felt rough and had a strong synthetic feel rather than soft cotton. They were heavily pilled and uncomfortable to sleep on, and I also found hair on the bedding when I arrived. The pillows weren’t great either, and there was no pillow menu. I was also surprised that the room didn’t include complimentary bottled water, which is something I’d expect at this price point. The TV was another odd issue. The picture had a noticeable blue tint, and the sound settings seemed off. I watch the same show regularly, and female voices sounded unusually deep, almost like male voices. There didn’t seem to be any way to adjust or reset the picture or audio settings. This was my first time staying at QT and I expected a much better experience. Overall, the room lacked the comfort and attention to detail I’d expect from a hotel in this category.

The hotel and its location were excellent. However, it was the people and the outstanding service that truly made the experience memorable and would bring us back again. We were treated exceptionally well, and the team went above and beyond to take care of us while celebrating my fiancée’s birthday.

We had a good stay, great room and comfortable bed! Location is awesome and fab breakfast. We had an issues as we had booked for 2 x nights via an online platform, and I’d booked directly to extend for an additional night ( directly) Logistically we were fine to stay in the same room, however we had to check out to then check back in, our keys blocked and had to get them activated again. You’d think extending the stay for another night would be easy however their computer system certainly didn’t! A shame their systems aren’t making life simple. My only feedback is surely in 2026 there this should be more of a simple process?

We been multiple times at the QT rooftop bar. Nice ambience the food was very nice and so was service and drinks. We got Feed me for 4 people everything was very delicious and big portions the only let down was the ice cream as a desert not very nice but overall beautiful. This is the first time we tried the food and we enjoyed we couldn't finish as was a lot. We are definitely come back.

Looking at previous reviews, many of my comments are similar. The shower water goes everywhere. If you shower at night and then go to the toilet halfway during the night, be careful not to slip over and break your hip. Rooftop opens at 3pm and the sun sets at 5:30pm. Maybe open it with no bar, so guests can sit up there and do some work/read a book. The AI lift commentary was very entertaining. However, could be a bit distasteful with the wrong person in the lift. The room was nice and large. You could hear some noises from other levels but fortunately was not in the middle of the night. Thank you to Aidan for doing what he could to make our stay comfortable. He is the staff member that shows 5 star commitment and care.
