The OX
The Grand Hyatt is the best hotel in Melbourne. It has Great views. The 33 stories at this hotel are hard to beat. Make sure to try to get as high a room as possible. Also ask to take the pillow tops off they are unnecessary. The price is not a problem when the service is how it is. Bathrooms though … This is something for all hotels over Australia. The need to include toilet brushes in all bathrooms. I don’t need to be finishing my business and leaving surprises for others in my family. Overall the view alone is worth a million bucks. The doorman’s are the biggest G’s. There whistling is exemplary. Must stay if you are coming to Melbourne.

Stayed in a suite we had great service from all departments from bell staff, reception, house keeping. The rooms were very clean and up to date. The breakfast was exceptional and the use of the club lounge was also very good. This hotel also has probably the best equiped gym of any of the hundreds of hotels Ive stayed in around the world. The location is the best for the theatre district. Worth a stay.

First and last time I ever stay at a Hyatt. Genuinely the worst service you can ever imagine from an alleged 5 star hotel. Literally appalling lack of service. Staff can't speak English. Laundry not picked up. Soaps/shower gels not refilled. What an absolute joke. The only positive about this hotel is the truly outstanding fitness facility. I'll never stay at Hyatt again after how much the unprofessional guest services disrupted my trip. . I am going to go out of my way to ensure that the corporation I work for NEVER uses this venue again, let alone any Hyatt. I raised the issue with management. To give credit where credit is due, Wang, the duty manager did to identify external laundry services but they were obviously all closed. Although the effort was appreciated, it was too little and too late. In the end, as a business traveller you need to be able to trust your hotel to provide you the services you need on the road. Hyatt had demonstrated that it is unworthy of being a destination that business travellers can feel comfortable staying at.

We were upgraded to a lo Ely suite, very grateful and enjoyed it - the views extra-ordinary but room just a little tired and needs sprucing up - lights PowerPoint's and use output. Enjoyed my stay - thank you

We came to Grand Hyatt to have the High Tea by Cristina Re. Absolutely beautiful experience. Food is great, service is impeccable, ambience is luxurious, setting is so elegant. I have been here three times already, with work colleagues, with friends and this time- with family. And the experience is flawless. Highly recommended.
