This hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay in Newcastle. It was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and had soft and medium pillows which is a nice touch. Well positioned for us to explore Newcastle city. Our vehicle was above the height limit, but we were put in the loading dock area, which meant we were off the street. Friendly reception and kitchen staff. Breakfast was well presented standard hotel breakfast. Very close to the sailing club, where we had a beautiful meal. I would definitely stay again.

The room was very clean, almost at Japanese standards, with new carpet and modern facilities. The bed was comfortable and each room had four pillows, which was a nice touch. The TV supports Chromecast and the Wi-Fi was super fast. Breakfast was a standard Western selection, and I was impressed that food was refilled quickly even close to closing time. The hotel is also in a great location, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The only downside was that the pillows didn’t feel very fresh and had a slight smell. Other than that, it was a very comfortable stay.

We stayed here for two nights using IHG points, which included breakfast each morning, and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The reception staff were a real highlight. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful, and efficient, which made check-in and general questions easy. Parking is available at $20 per day and can be paid for through the app, which was very convenient. Our room was on the fifth floor and was very well designed and efficient. The bed was firm and comfortable, and the choice of one soft and one firm pillow was appreciated. The room included a small couch, table, fridge, and a well-thought-out bathroom. The bathroom door is multi-functional, closing in to create a shower enclosure or giving privacy when using the toilet. There were no issues with water leakage, drainage was excellent, and the shower pressure was fantastic. Temperature control was another strong point. Both the room and hotel were easy to keep cool with the air-conditioning, which was especially welcome given the extreme heat outside during our stay. Coming back to a cool room and a refreshing shower was a relief. Breakfast was fine and did the job. It’s a functional spread with cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, toast, and the basics. The buffet coffee isn’t great, but there is a proper coffee machine at reception where you can purchase a better coffee, or alternatively there’s a lovely café about 300 metres down the road. Overall, this is a clean, well-kept hotel that’s thoughtfully laid out and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

Stayed here overnight and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very convenient for a short stay. Check-in was smooth, staff were friendly, and everything felt hassle-free. The buffet breakfast was included and surprisingly good with plenty of options to start the day. Overall, excellent value for money and a solid choice if you’re staying in Newcastle. Highly recommend!

Stayed for one night and overall, we were pretty happy with the experience. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, but it was a bit underwhelming 😕. The options were quite minimal, some hot food, fresh fruits, toast, cereals and coffee/tea. It was okay, but definitely could be improved. All in all, a comfortable stay, just wished the breakfast offered a bit more variety.
