Quintessential Melbournian music venue in a 1920s restored theatre styled along ancient Roman themes complete with statuary and a firmament overhead. The absolutely best place to see a band, not too small, not too big, great sound and atmosphere. Infinitely better than a tennis court or the StKilda equivalent which has worse acoustics.

An absolutely gorgeous venue with star-like lights on the ceiling, and other amazing decor. The stage is great with dynamic platforms for performers, and the GA standing area is huge. There is also seating area behind the GA area, as well as upstairs. I’m from Adelaide, and it’s honestly one of the best show venues I’ve been to! 100% recommend !!!

Brilliant venue; accessible and clean toilets First time at this venue in my 60 years living in Melbourne; certainly admired the building from the outside on many occasions Went to see The Counterfeits Band last night; brilliant!!

Floodlights gig was awesome! Victorian architecture venue, electric blue light backgrounds, and a super cool light show on stage. Such a perfect mix for the nite. Expensive drinks. Just like every other big venue...
