The hotel is amazing! We had requested for an early check in and got the check in at 12:30 pm which was great, but what was better was that the rooms were immaculate! Not a single strand of hair anywhere and sheets perfectly white, it was amazing. The views from our room were also amazing (1614 I believe). The breakfast was fine, can be better but certainly more than enough for most. Service was good especially during check in and check out. Front desk was always helpful. The service however was slightly inconvenient at times with us having to go to reception to pick stuff like towels and coffee up, but still it wasn’t too bad. The free late check out was also certainly something I loved. And don’t even get me started on the hotel’s absolutely amazing location right in the centre of town. Would absolutely recommend to everybody after the amazing stay I had!

We had an excellent stay at Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins and would absolutely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Melbourne. Despite arriving early, the team was very accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage prior to check-in, which made our day much more convenient. The inclusion of a complimentary buffet breakfast is a fantastic added value, offering a great start to each morning. We were especially pleased that our request for a high-floor room was fulfilled, and the room itself exceeded expectations—spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with a well-sized bed that ensured a restful stay. The hotel also offers a self-service coin-operated laundry, which is a thoughtful and practical सुविधा for travellers on longer trips. In terms of location, it is well-positioned near Southern Cross Station, providing easy connectivity while still being within reach of the main CBD attractions. The only minor point was that the $50 bond took about a week to be released, but this did not impact our overall experience. Overall, a highly satisfying and value-for-money stay with excellent comfort and convenience. We would gladly return again.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The pricing was quite reasonable, especially with the breakfast option included, and the location is excellent with great views. It’s very close to Southern Cross Station and nearby tram stops, which made getting around extremely convenient. The breakfast spread was good, offering a decent variety. The staff was also very friendly & welcoming throughout our stay. There were a few minor issues, such as inconsistent hot water pressure and little water leakage after the shower, but nothing that significantly affected our stay. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and we would happily stay here again.
Tesspresso Melbourne
Recently stayed here and unfortunately my experience fell well short of expectations. While the room itself was clean, there were several issues that impacted comfort. The air conditioning unit could not be turned off and made a persistent noise throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep. The bathroom had no basic toiletries provided in the room, although I was told items like a shower cap or toothbrush could be requested from reception. The overall presentation of the hotel felt impersonal. The ground floor in sparse and lacks any sense of welcome, and the reception being located on level 2 made the arrival experience feel disjointed. Wayfinding throughout was not intuitive. The lifts had visibly dirty floors during my stay, which added to the sense that attention to detail was lacking. Breakfast was another disappointment, with very limited options available for those who are gluten- or dairy-free. Most concerning was the service. Staff came across as unwelcoming and were not helpful when assistance was needed, which left a lasting impression.

The room was clean but not spacious although the city view was spectacular. The climate control did not keep a consistent temperature however staff were happy to provide a sheet and blanket. The bathroom is not private “I can hear you !” without an extraction fan. The bed did not minimise partner disturbance as every movement produced a wobble, not great for light sleepers. The pillows are entirely feather or other loose filling that does not provide adequate support. Location was excellent and onsite parking good value.
