The entire experience, from arrival to the end, was nothing but praise for the great food, range and quality of drinks, staff service and presentation, and the overall atmosphere. My husband was the one who suggested Dockside/L'Aqua for our reception, and as soon as we walked in for the site visit we were pretty much sold on having our reception here. The Gold Room is a beautiful and unique space that was perfect for our guest numbers. Watching the Darling Harbour fireworks from the Room's balcony was a memorable experience for guests (especially those from.interstate and overseas) and made for great photos. The package they offered was great value with the inclusion of a DJ (who set the vibe for our night and got guests up and dancing once formalities were over) and we could even supply our own spirits. From the start, L'Aqua were so easy to deal with. Julia answered all our initial questions, and Irene, our Venue coordinator, was really helpful and accommodating even with our last-minute requests! I found the venue to be flexible, and staff on the night were really attentive to all. A huge shoutout to Anju (venue manager) for being so welcoming and friendly - my husband and I really appreciated it 😊 The food was tasty, nicely presented, and portions were abundant - no one left hungry that's for sure. A lot of guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food, fireworks, and the beautiful space. I highly recommend the Dockside Group and their venue spaces to anyone looking to celebrate an occasion!

I'm glad we had our wedding here. Highly recommended. The staff were very professional and very prompt in responding to any questions that we had. They were very helpful to our guests. The coordinators, Irene, Isabella, Jasmine and Anju, helped us from the beginning. They were very welcoming and generous when we first inspected the venue and explained in a lot of details on how they organise the event. The food was great. There are a lot of options. The portions were just right, and no one had any complaints about the taste.

Had a work Christmas lunch function here recently in the Gold Room. Friendly staff and nice views of the harbour from the balcony area (which has plenty of area to stand on for group photos). Plenty of glass windows for natural light. The food and cocktails were more average though.

The place is pretty but the food was just okay. The ravioli is delicious and and pumpkin was tasty. But the beef was rubbery and tasteless. The barramundi was cooked well but had a weird ginger ravioli underneath. The bathrooms were inadequate for the number if guests. 4 womens and two men's cubicles for over 100 guests.
