I went there the other day and it was amazing and wonderful experience with the charming blend of historic and modern elements, with its open-air design offering stunning views of the Yarra River and the city skyline. The cozy outdoor seating areas and fireplace create a relaxed atmosphere. Its scenic riverside setting makes it a popular spot for dining and social gatherings. 👌

Stopped in for breakfast, looking for gluten free options for my wife. So glad we popped in. The Brekkie burger was perfect, and these guys should have a sign out the front: We know how to cook hash browns. Crispy outside and soft and fluffy inside. Wife’s eggs bennie was also outstanding. And, yes there’s more. Mocha was excellent. Highly recommended.

The food was tasty and reasonably priced given the location. The wait staff, were polite and talkative. The vibe was pleasant. Ultimately I'd describe the experience as nice and not amazing.

Having now been to The Boatbuilders, tried some food had a few beers, I’ve got a much better understanding of what type of venue it is. My expectations were higher than the reality. I was disappointed in the food, presentation was poor and it was only just ok when it came to quality and quantity. Having said that, I really enjoyed the venue. Location is A+, and it’s a people watchers paradise with the amount of pedestrians on the boardwalk. Cuisine is sort of Spanish / Mexican and more snacky than substantial. I will be back for beers and catch ups with friends but not on my list of dining. It was also quite pricey. Lunch and 1 beer was $63.00.

saw this coffee and bar while walking in the wharf and think it looks nice so we tried to grab some coffee. turned out really nice and the food looks and smells nice. will come back next time and grab a meal.
