I had an amazing time at The Duke of Wellington rooftop bar. The views of Melbourne are stunning, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed evening out. The drinks were great, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s a fantastic spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a casual drink with a view.

Favorites: Beef Roll and Rump It is one of the oldest pubs in downtown Melbourne. However, it has been recently renovated. The food is really great and they have a vast selection of beers.

I love the Duke of Wellington as a local Melburnian. We stop by here quite often since it’s centrally located, making it a short trip to both the MCG for the footy and Flinders Street Station for the train. It’s a great spot to meet up for a beer, with a sports bar downstairs, and also a nice place for dinner, with the restaurant area upstairs. There’s a good variety of food on offer, and when we visited in November with a group of friends, we all got quite into it. The parmas were a great size, and I saw some good looking gnocchi down the table. Everyone had good things to say about the food. I had a cheeseburger, which was classic and a good feed. The space itself is beautiful, with a well designed interior. The upstairs restaurant has a completely different feel from the sports bar downstairs, creating two unique spaces for everyone to enjoy. We often drop by for a drink after the footy, and it always has a great atmosphere. Overall I love this place, great vibes and a classic Melbourne spot to visit while exploring the city!

Very busy (public holiday before AFL Grand final) but staffed appropriately and quick service from staff. Very quick to remove empties from tables. Lovely views and great design. Roof top bar was lovely. Lift available if needed

A bit disappointed with the Chicken Parma, which was overcooked and the crumbs tasted stale. Fortunately the chips and salads were still fresh. The prawn and chorizo linguine was average on taste and appearance. Service was ok overall.
