5 stars for a local bistro for such amazing service. We had 2 in our party of 4 with food allergies and the staff were just brilliant-- helping me make the alterations and double checking everything was correct. Their attentiveness really put our minds at ease. Thank you.

Beautiful aesthetic room for the wake of my late father. Tables and chairs which were beautifully decorated with simple yet classic centrepieces. Service was also exceptional with all inquiries and requests given straight away. Thank you so much Sandown pub. Being so close to come to after Springvale cemetery was just so great.

Great pub with about 10 excellent pool tables, nice outdoor area, and some of the nicest food we have tasted. The staff are very friendly and go that bit extra to really give excellent service. Huge screen TV and separate gaming area. Was there on Australia Day, and the games and Jag The Joker were great fun. The manager is a really nice fellow and always happy for a chat. $6 schooners of VB and Five Seeds Cider on tap at $8.70 for a schooner. Had the Seniors Roast of the day with plum pudding and custard dessert for $20, and it was delicious.

We had a lovely lunch over the weekend, the meals were amazing, the staff were great especially the Manager, he is a really nice & friendly down to earth person, he asked us if everything was Ok with our meals & he was really lovely with other customers too. There was an elderly man at the bar where the Manager made an effort to go & talk to him, this is exceptional customer service, thank you for making customers feel important, the elderly man came past our table & had a chat, he also mentioned the Manager was the best in the business, we definitely agree to that! We also went to a live show & dinner late last year & we had a fantastic time, the staff & the Manager provided first class service. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area & telling our friends what an amazing pub & excellent Management from the amazing manager, thank you for the fantastic customer service & lovely atmosphere.

Not overly impressed on my last visit. I swear I was served frozen vegetables. With the roast lamb on a Sunday. Anyway like the place as it gas pool tables.. used to. Bistro was great years ago. Atmosphere is fine. Okay little spot. Average price for average food. Pick up your food game guys
