⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved the vibe at Strato. We went for a sunset dinner, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. Watching the sun set while enjoying dinner was a highlight — on one side you have stunning views overlooking Port Phillip, and on the other, the city skyline. The views alone make it worth the visit. The food was wonderful. We ordered premium steak and chicken, and everything came out beautifully prepared and presented. The portions were surprisingly filling and definitely satisfying — we left feeling well fed and very happy. There were four of us dining, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We’d heard a lot about Strato and really wanted to experience the atmosphere for ourselves, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The overall vibe was elegant yet relaxed, making it a great spot for a special occasion or a memorable night out. After dinner, we went across to the bar area, which features floor-to-ceiling windows offering a perfect, uninterrupted view of the city skyline — an incredible way to finish the evening. I highly recommend booking in advance, as it’s a very popular place and fills up quickly. We Ubered there, so I’m not sure what parking is like, but aside from that, everything about the experience was fantastic. Definitely a must-try, and we’ll absolutely be back for another great experience.

It’s a difficult review this one. The food was good, the view amazing but the service was sterile and robotic. After some cocktails, we opted for the Chefs menu. $130ph and we would leave it to the Chef. The starters were great. Oysters beautiful. The Mains were good. Not great. And for the money a steak and piece of Salmon didn’t really tick the value equation or wow factor. Dessert was good and they acknowledged our Wedding Anniversary. The service. Well this was a let down. There seemed to be a constant pressure to clear plates that we were still grazing on and getting the next course served. The timing was just off. Then at 8:23pm the waitress handed us the bill and informed us the table was booked at 8:30pm so we needed to finish up. We were still finishing our dessert! So hurriedly we finished up. We then requested if we could go the bar area and have another drink. No problems but we needed to settle the dinner bill first. Odd. Then in the bar area we were treated like brand new customers and the waiter who had served half of our dinner went through the cocktail menu again! It seemed to be just about the process without connecting at all with the customers. For the money - expected better service and it detracted from the experience. Also a $35.00 charge to guarantee a window seat?.When the place is not full that is not justified. And when we left after 9pm our table was still vacant.

I took my boyfriend here for his 22nd birthday. Honestly after seeing some of the reviews I was worried about the food but my experience here was outstanding. We got the lamb rack, sirloin steak and mash potatoes for the mains. Haven’t stopped thinking about the lamb, it was that good. Everything except the scallops was delicious, the scallops fell a little bit for $32, I was expecting better flavour. I got the moodydance and another yuzu cocktail, they were perfect. The views were immaculate and the atmosphere was so romantic and moody so perfect for a date, or night out with your partner. Would definitely recommend and go again!!

Strato Melbourne nails the experience—good food, smart service, and a view that actually justifies the hype. It’s one of those spots where the quality matches the atmosphere, not the marketing. Worth it, especially if you want a place that feels elevated without trying too hard. #BestFood #DeliciousFood #StratoMelbourne #MelbourneEats #MelbourneBars #AustraliaFoodScene #MustTryMelbourne #DiningWithAView #AussieRestaurants
