Beautiful old world property, immaculately maintained and tastefully decorated. From the lobby to the rooms, much attention is paid to detail. The dining venue is excellent, offering a nice variety of regional fare. The amenities are also very good: gym, spa, pool, and rooftop deck are outstanding. Ideally situated next to the river, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and sightseeing. Finally, the staff is phenomenal! They are helpful, thoughtful, and very welcoming.

Stayed in a club room during the Australian Open. Rooms were a bit dated but this was expected given the age of the hotel. Overall the room was still nice in a more traditional way and the bathroom was clean. Buffet breakfast was decent - as is typical of Australian hotels the variety isn't huge, but enough to satisfy. The pressing service was very quick which could be useful in a pinch. The club lounge food was a very big standout for me. The afternoon tea spread was just wonderful and beautifully presented. Yet somehow the evening canapés eclipsed even the afternoon tea. They were so good I went back for seconds despite having dinner to get to. Each item was of a high quality and surpassed my expectations on taste. Overall a great experience.

Love the Langham. Old school vibe. Comfortable beds and pillows. The buffet breakfast is one of the best in town (in my opinion). So much variety and quality ingredients. Would’ve been nice to get an upgrade or something thrown in (the price is on the high side for rooms). Unfortunately, ‘you get what you get and you don’t get upset’! Housekeeping was on point. Staff super friendly. Location great.

Beautiful hotel. Cleaning staff average. Experienced a bit of colorism with waitstaff at podium level lounge. High profile guest stayed for over two weeks. Very generous with all staff. Sat him in a corner behind the wall when other seating was available. Very inattentive until I spoke to the manager who fixed the problem. I was simply waiting for a drink at the bar (sitting temporarily at a table for just a few minutes as I received my drink with hair in it (so they were making it again). While waiting, I was asked to move to accommodate a party, once again when there were several tables available. Some of the staff, such as Darren and the Chuan Spa staff were excellent. Podium level staff needs more training on handling high profile clients. Whether we are people of color or not. Definitely felt strange. Will not stay here next time for those reasons. Another high profile person chose not to stay here due to his previous experience, but we gave it a chance. Private kitchen staff was very nice, but there was Hair in room service food a few times as well.

What can I say that wouldn't have already been said about how great an experience it is to stay at The Langham. From start to finish you'll have a smooth check-in process with the friendly staff. I definitely recommend upgrading to a hotel room package that includes the Langham club. We had the junior suite with stunning views of the river and city. As the room wasn't quite ready we enjoyed our included, afternoon tea in the club lounge. They complete the check-in process here, issue you with room key cards and bags are delivered to your room, happy days 😊. We also had massage and hair treatment at the Chuan spa and enjoyed the pool and other facilities, even saved the day by finding a ladies gold ring 💍 in the pool 🤽.
