We have dinner at the Gosnells pub typically once a week and are always pleased- so when the event details for “Christmas at the Gozzie” came out we decided to give that a shot this year! The staff really really outdid themselves, and we had a wonderful day. From the beautiful Christmas decorations, the complimentary drink on arrival and gifts of a bottle of wine each (to take home), the amazing food and the wonderful service the staff deserve massive props. We were a group of 4, my husband and I plus my parents and we all agreed that the food was fantastic- with portion sizes that were bordering on overly generous (mum and I both ended up taking home most of our mains for lunch the next day). For entree my husband and I both had the prawn cocktail that set itself apart by having both peel your own prawns and marinated prawns- very nice. My parents both went for the meat and cheese plate- which was all very good quality and well received. For mains 3 of us had the traditional Turkey and Ham, served with roasted veggies and gravy. The turkey was exceptional and not dry at all!! Vegetables were well seasoned and nicely presented. My husband had the pork belly with mash that he advised was delicious! For dessert we had the gelato, which was also lovely, and then rolled out of the restaurant clutching our stomaches! Big big shoutout also to our lovely waitress Michelle, for whom nothing seemed like too much trouble- where she didn’t know something she went and asked, but she knew an awful lot! Her hard work on Christmas Day was sincerely appreciated!

Food was Calle seafood spectacular , but nothing what’s spectacular about crumb fish from a box? Most of what got left on the table no utensils to serve the food and everyone using their spoon that they were eating off to serve themselves. Only a bread plate to eat off and not given clean plates or clean Forks at all the whole night ! Advertise as a long table of seafood but was very limited seafood, mostly corn chips, and salad and three oysters disgusting for the value. Staff were rude and unhelpful at all and I had to clear the table myself and asked for new table plates

Old local pub, has a train inside and few different drinking areas. Some activities run on Saturday nights. Ordered ribeye on bone was average, can choose how you want your potato ( chips, mash, stuffed) garlic bread was alright đź‘Ť Staff can be slightly slow on understanding simple mixed drinks - stick to basics to avoid confusion!

Food was lovely. Come out pretty quick too. it was so nice to see kids meals come out first before adults because they’re always hungry. Staff was amazing in all areas drinks and service of meals. Franz she was fantastic friendly and very helpful with the new app
