I recently visited Brass Monkey Hotel and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered pizza, and it was honestly one of the worst I’ve had in a long time. The base was dry and overly chewy, the toppings were sparse and unevenly distributed, and the overall flavour was bland and underwhelming. It tasted more like something rushed out of a freezer than a freshly made meal from a hotel kitchen. For the price they charge, I expected something much better in terms of quality and presentation. The service made the experience even worse. Staff seemed disinterested and inattentive from the moment we arrived. It took far too long for someone to take our order, and when the food finally arrived, there was no check-in to see if everything was okay. Trying to get assistance felt like an inconvenience to them. Basic hospitality and customer care were completely lacking. What really stood out was how expensive everything was compared to the quality delivered. High prices can be justified if the food and service are excellent — but in this case, neither came close. Paying premium prices for subpar food and poor service left a very bad impression. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend dining here, especially if you’re considering ordering pizza. There are plenty of other places that offer much better food, friendlier service, and better value for money. Very disappointing experience.

What a great bar! Excellent environment to chill and drink, both alone and with friends. I was alone during my holidays and walking I stepped by the bar, when inside and ask the bartender for any drink, Ariel, the bartender was 10 out of 10!! What a great guy, funny, very attentive and with a great smile on his face. We had a great time, laughing and talking like we were old friends. Definitively will comeback another time!

What an amazing pub, in town from Adelaide for the weekend. Catching up the a large group of work friends and couldn’t be happier. The atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food are well worth the visit. Highly recommended.

🟨 My husband and I came to Perth twice in the past. We also visited Brass Monkey Hotel twice for a meal and a coffee. 🟩 We went there once in the morning by ourselves ( for lunch) and at night time for drinks with my cousins. 🔵 This beautiful and retro looking hotel has this rooftop dining eatery overlooking the streets. That's where I had my fish and chips. 🟨 However, one female middle-aged wait staff took sometime to attend to us. Like others were served before us, and she took a long time to come to our table. ▪︎ I think I know why, but I didn't want to create issues on the spot. 😅 I am a tourist there, so I kept quiet and tried to be patient. ❇️ 🙏🏻 Anyway, that's the past and I didn't want to hold it against her. So I let it go and enjoyed my meal. ( this is just feedback). 🟧 All in all, the meal was good and I do like the vintage ambience of the hotel and the eatery.
