Reviews for Brass Monkey Hotel

🟨 My husband and I came to Perth twice in the past. We also visited Brass Monkey Hotel twice for a meal and a coffee. 🟩 We went there once in the morning by ourselves ( for lunch) and at night time for drinks with my cousins. 🔵 This beautiful and retro looking hotel has this rooftop dining eatery overlooking the streets. That's where I had my fish and chips. 🟨 However, one female middle-aged wait staff took sometime to attend to us. Like others were served before us, and she took a long time to come to our table. ▪︎ I think I know why, but I didn't want to create issues on the spot. 😅 I am a tourist there, so I kept quiet and tried to be patient. ❇️ 🙏🏻 Anyway, that's the past and I didn't want to hold it against her. So I let it go and enjoyed my meal. ( this is just feedback). 🟧 All in all, the meal was good and I do like the vintage ambience of the hotel and the eatery.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Night at Brass Monkey Perth! My friend and I visited Brass Monkey last night and were absolutely blown away. Every dish was simply delicious, and the crisp, ice‑cold white wine was the perfect pairing. A huge shout‑out to Alexia, who waited on us with the brightest smile and truly top‑notch attitude (you’ll see her in our photos!). The security gentleman at the door greeted us so warmly, and Melani, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The entire crew is unbelievably friendly and professional—I can’t recommend Brass Monkey highly enough!

Extremely Busy Night with free event in The Square but the service was awesome at the bars. Security was on point all the way from entry, moving around the space and in communication. So many options to sit and enjoy our night out in this venue.

Stopped into the Brass Monkey for a few drinks on a Friday evening and it had just the right kind of energy—busy, but not overwhelming. The building itself is a bit of a landmark, and there’s something charming about its old-school pub feel with the high ceilings, big windows and wrap-around balconies. Plenty of space to move around, with different sections for quieter chats or more lively groups. I tried one of their local pale ales and shared a few pub-style starters—nothing overly fancy, but everything hit the spot. Service was quick despite the crowd, and the vibe was upbeat without being too loud. A reliable, classic pub to meet friends and settle in for a few.

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia Tour I came here just before lunch with a recipient, with the intention of watching the UFC at the Patriots which was packed out so walked around into the beer garden and scored a seat. From there ordered a bottle of sparkling oyster bay and carnivore pizza and cheesy garlic bread, was carb overload so we didn't get through most of the garlic bread but the pizza was nice. My recipient who self proclaims doesn't usually eat the crusts, ate the crust 😀.
