Food was so tasty, big portions, quick service even the restaurant was packed when we went. We like the atmosphere very nice old European style pub. We had the legendary lamb shank pie special and chicken schnitzel. Only thing was we were very excited about cob loaf which is hard to find, but it wasn’t a cob loaf it was a cheese garlic bread and should be renamed. Otherwise we loved it, we stayed nearby and always packed when we walked past.

Love this place I'm a big lover of Belgian beer, having lived and worked in Brussels years ago. They stock some very typical Belgian and special ones, that only someone who has lived or is from Belgium might ask for. I am taken back by the cost of some of these beers (most of which are a fraction of the cost at source), which unfortunately causes me to frequent this bar only as an occasional treat, and not a regular.

Love love love this place! My family and I spent Christmas lunch here. Wow! It was stunning. Friendly staff, food to die for and the best beer in town! What a combo! Will be back next year for sure!

If you love your beer like I do, no other place in Perth even comes close to this pub. Some of the best Belgian beers, some great German beers, and some decent Australian beers on tap (this I have obviously had better). The place has an old charm and a way to transport you to simpler times. Their food menu is quite balanced as well - some great beer food. Below are the things I have tried so far: 1. Almost all their beers. My favourites would have to be Steenbrugge, La Trappe Blonde, Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2. Bagel bites ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3. Sausage platter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Must visit

Lovely restored heritage pub, if you want old school feel then go here, obviously not the cheapest place to wine and dine but what do you expect for the centre of the CBD. Cannot comment of the quality of the food as did not eat here. Good spot to people watch as it’s situated on a main drag. The free Red cat bus stop is approximately 80 meters from the pub and other free bus lines are close by.
