The worst hotel experience during my visit to Australia. We stayed there for 3 nights. The room was decent, but the bathroom was old and definitely in need of renovation. The whole hotel looked rather run-down, especially considering the price of the stay. The worst part was finding hair all over the bathroom. As soon as I arrived, I noticed various hairs throughout the bathroom. I asked the reception to have it cleaned, and they said they would send a cleaner after we left the room. When we returned, nothing had changed. I asked two more times, and each time they sent a cleaner who didn't remove any of the hair. Disgusting. The only good thing was the breakfast, which was really excellent. I would never return to this hotel again.

I would say average hotel. Rooms are little old and shabby. Seems like not renovated for a while. Room air con wasn't working properly. Only good thing is the location and balcony.

Good hotel with comfy beds and helpful staff. The bar had only commercial beer and should stock local craft beer and have a few on tap. Likewise the wine list lacked Margaret river selections. Breakfast was overpriced too supposedly corporate discounted at $29. Go to the Mill nearby instead.

Great hotel, clean and fresh rooms, excellent and friendly staff, two pools, fantastic buffet breakfast with great variety of food. Wifi and casting to screen worked great. Really good location, even though our room was adjacent to Essex Street there was very little noise. Good blackout curtains. Seemed to cater well for variety of users. My only concern is the security around the pool, on occasion doors from the main buffet area directly to the pool were propped open, probably by guests, and one gate between the pools did not self close. If you have a quick wandering toddler who cannot swim this could end catastrophically.

A beautiful building in a great location. The price reflects what you get, it's a good hotel that could be exceptional with a bit more money thrown at it. The front desk staff were lovely, the bar staff were a bit average. Buffet breakfast is expensive for what it is, it's absolutely fine but nothing noteworthy. Couldn't quite work out the deal with The Harbour Master bistro, it didn't look like it was open during our stay. The bar food was hit and miss. The rooms were good, with new carpet and furniture but they are just missing the final touch. The hallways are cold and bland, just needs someone to come through the hotel and finish it off and raise it up a notch. Overall the hotel is good
