The Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle is a fantastic place to stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in a breeze. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and had everything I needed. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location is perfect, close to everything Fremantle has to offer. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

We can't recommend this hotel enough! My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 days and had the best time. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, the evening meals were delicious, and the location is second to none! The whole environment of the hotel and surrounding area is incredibly friendly and we can't wait to stay again!

Very disappointed with our room. Was told on arrival we had been given a complimentary upgrade. Room was a good size. Nice bathroom although not as clean as I would have expected. Suspicious brown splats on side of bath ( which my husband wiped off). The so called balcony was more like a cell with a small opening. We were only there one night but had we been there more I would have complained. Steer clear of room 151 if you are there for more than 1 night.

The bathrooms were disgusting, there was scaling around the sink and the shower head and mould growing in the shower. I genuinely didn't want to shower here. The room smelt musty, the walls were also very gross. The remote control was covered in what looked like grease and dust and smelt foul. Only good thing about the hotel was the location.

We stayed over Xmas and New Year, so the hotel was very lively. It's got strengths and weaknesses depending on your needs. Rooms are pretty basic and quite old in decor, but they were fine. Food was fairly average. Buffet breakfast was expensive for what it was. After a couple of days, we went out for breakfast locally, where there are lots of great places nearby. However, it did the job perfectly well overall and is well placed in the town. Overall value at that time of year was not brilliant. Would we stay again - yes, but we will look around for our next trip to Freo.
