My room was well appointed and had great light and a spacious bathroom. The staff were accommodating and friendly with great service in the bar and restaurant as well. The heritage part of the building does lend itself to being a bit of a 'rabbit warren' of sorts with corridors, levels and numbers not always making sense - be sure to let them know if stairs are not a possibility for you with or without your luggage. Recommended stay with some great sustainability options in place.

Peppers is an outstanding hotel offering an excellent location and high-quality service. The property is aesthetically pleasing, and the breakfast options are well-prepared and varied. I would particularly like to commend Holly at reception for her exceptional professionalism. She efficiently resolved maintenance issues and promptly arranged a room change, demonstrating a level of service that is truly exceptional. Overall, a highly enjoyable and well-managed stay.

Room was a bit tired, Bedheads had peeling fake leather, blockout curtains produced a heavy cloud of dust when moved, 3 of 4 provided coffee pods where decaffeinated, provided shower amenities were all empty, 2 towels provided for 3 booked in guests. Did get a personalised greeting card and front desk said they would let housekeeping know... Free to air tv channels provided with problematic ABC reception, wifi worked well. Breakfast buffet was ok but not restocked when empty, A la carte items and coffee were nice.

I spent a few days at Peppers attending a conference at ANU, which was just across the main road and so within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was comfortable with plenty of natural light. Peppers is also fairly close to Canberra Airport.

Roughly 15 minute walk to convention centre. So good excerise morning and afternoon without being exhausted. Hotel was clean comfortable and front reception staff professional. Unfortunately the reataurant was out of action as the chef apparently didn't turn up. No dinner service and breakfast was continental only
