Complementing this is a professional-grade Martin PA system, ensuring exceptional sound quality throughout the ballroom. Together, these components deliver an unparalleled audio-visual experience, guaranteed to impress your guests and elevate your event. The ballroom boasts an optional pre-function lobby, as well as interconnections to other rooms and included ‘backstage’ green rooms.

Located on Level Two, Acacia Room features brilliant cream toned walls and slim pillars, creating the perfect blank canvas space waiting to be brought to life for your event, meeting or conference. Equipped with contemporary lighting technology, projection screen and custom-built surround sound audio, our team of expert audio-visual specialists will seamlessly manage your event requirements as you desire. The adjacent space also available for to use as a unique entrance, display area or break out room.

Arrive to the height of grandeur through a magnificent private entrance rising up from Macquarie Street, greeted with a portico enclosed by sandstone pillars and archways. Your guests will be awed as they step inside the pristine lobby complete with golden walls, luminous halo chandeliers, baby grand piano and marble flooring – which can be effortlessly transformed into a dancefloor for evening parties. Recently refurbished by award-winning Australian designers DBI Design, Hermitage Room is awash with natural light from soaring windows, and features brilliant white walls and slim Tuscan columns. Added to the original 1851 Treasury Building at the turn of the 19th century, this room garners its glamorous décor and name from its illustrious history as the ‘strong room’ which stored New South Wales’ prized gold.

Cascading archways abound in this grand function room, filled with Eastern sunlight. Frosted windows gaze into the spacious interior arcades of the Cortile lobby, imbuing The Grevillea Room with a sense of infinite openness. The room’s walls are dotted with historic photographs detailing the hidden stories of Sydney, reflecting the venues admiration of history. Interweaving classical design details with contemporary projection technology and surround sound audio, you will never cease to captivate your guests in the Grevillea Room.

With natural light cascading from high glass ceilings, step through a grand sandstone pre-function space into the private Correa Lobby and onto the Correa Room. A refined venue in the heart of Circular Quay, discover period details including stylish mahogany doors and elegant Art Nouveau chandeliers. Complete with inbuilt projector and projection screen, the Correa Room is ideal for hosting small to medium group presentations. The Correa Room & Lobby overlook Bridge Street and the heritage façade of the Colonial Secretary’s building: a stately Victorian building completed by the same architect as the Treasury Building in which InterContinental Sydney resides.

Unlock a Sydney CBD meeting room filled with heritage features: original ornate ceilings, carved wooden doors, art nouveau lighting and a bold marble fireplace. Seamlessly interwoven with impressive historic elements, The Premiers Room includes contemporary fittings and a slide-out television perfect for presentations, workshops, and offsite board meetings.

Step inside the Casuarina Rooms, where old-world glamour and sleek modern style collide. Both function spaces feature stunning art deco-style chandeliers, and a chic neutral palette of cream, white and dove grey, lending them to all manner of embellishments and uses – from product launches and media showcases to conference breakout sessions. Heritage emerald marble fireplaces and concealed built-in TVs bookend each room, making them ideal meeting rooms for small workshops and presentations. The Quay Room includes a small lobby entrance. The larger Casuarina Room can interconnect with the Ballroom, and may also be hired to include a smaller preparatory room located off this grand ballroom.
