We were so happy with our stay here. We booked for our 20th wedding anniversary and there were lovely personal touches that went with this unexpectedly. A room upgrade, champagne on arrival and the most attentive staff throughout checkin, breakfast and check out. It was a perfect stay and the location was so central to everywhere we needed to be. The views are sensational.
We loved the hotel, the room was very very comfortable with a great separate sitting area and very good bedding. Beautiful bathroom with nice amenities. The view of the bridge and Opera House was stunning and we loved to watch the cruise ships arrive and depart from the quays. Breakfast at the club level was outstanding with great service, shout out to the staff! Our only disappointment was the restaurant on the ground level .. we went once and did not return, service was extremely slow and the food not that great. Being such a luxury hotel with only that option available was a major set back in an otherwise great stay.
I booked a room with the club member system, and it was absolutely worth it. The room itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, making my stay truly enjoyable. As a club member, I had access to exclusive facilities, and everything about it was top-notch. The rooftop bar at night was a highlight, offering a breathtaking panoramic view, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, with a great variety and high-quality ingredients. Beyond the hotel itself, the location was ideal, just a short distance from the Sydney Opera House, the Art Gallery of NSW, and the Museum of Sydney, making it easy to explore some of the city’s best attractions. From the stunning views to the outstanding service and prime location, every detail was perfect, making this one of the best luxury stays I’ve ever had!
We travel to Sydney from Melbourne every two months or so, and usually stay in the CBD. For the first time, we stayed at the Intercontinental after having tried many of the hotels around the Rocks, Circular Quay, Hyde Park etc. This hotel is arguably the best we have stayed in so far. So well located, staff are excellent and the hotel is fresh and a really good above average standard. Tip: Include breakfast. The Conservatory has several dining spaces; inside the Conservatory or out on the inner courtyard balcony overlooking the Treasury. Besides the main dining area where the hot food is found, keep walking through to the pantry where all the healthy cool options are found…amazing spread. The few photos attached do not do the hotel justice, but suffice to say that we have already booked Intercontinental for our next overseas trip _we have been so impressed.
I truly enjoyed my stay in Sydney Intercontinental, this is by far my favorite hotel in Sydney!! :)The hotel is greatly located and rooms were spacious and trendy, with lovely amenities! I especially appreciated the staff in the club lounge who were very nice and accommodating! A fantastic view also from Aster - the amazing views are unbeatable and never quit, day and night!!! For a business traveler like myself and also Platinum Elite, it makes a huge difference even for a short stay!! Looking forward to coming back soon, perhaps April-May!
