Truly amazing hotel. Recently refurbished - rooms are plush and comfortable. The harbour views are breathtaking. Do yourself a favour and pay for Club Lounge access - the views from the Aster Bar are without doubt the best in Sydney. Proximity to all the best things Sydney has to offer (Botanic Gardens, Opera House, The Rocks, ferries to Manly or Watson's Bay) make it a great place to base yourself for a weekend or a week!! Even having grown up in Sydney, I still found it an incredible stay.

Lovely hotel. The rooms are newly renovated so have a great aesthetic, and are a good size. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is quite good. Breakfast at the Conservatory has a good selection but the service is slow - order coffee the night before if you want to receive it within 15 or 20 minutes of arrival (and that's after you've waited in the queue for 5 minutes). On the other hand, when it arrives it's quite good.

From the moment we were seated, Josh made sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. His knowledge of the menu was exceptional, offering thoughtful recommendations and answering all our questions with patience. Throughout the meal, he was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were refilled and our needs met promptly. Josh’s positive attitude and friendly demeanor truly enhanced our dining experience. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about the customers.
