First time going to the Canterbury League club and wow. The people straight through the door gave us a great explanation of where everything was and the benefits of becoming a member. It was very opulent especially the water feature in the toilet. The service, food and drinks were also very good.

We visited the club today and we were impressed with the venue. So many fantastic changes since I last visited about 30 years ago. Parking was easy, access into the club from the car park had great signage, signing in with the help of Natasha was good although she was a bit vague when I asked a general question , she advised me to go speak to the staff at the desk who was very helpful (sorry I didn't look at name badge). We made our way to the bistro where we ordered our meal from Mia, she gave me one set of cutlery and I said could I have another set please and she asked why I wanted 2 sets and I said that ive ordered 2 meals and she apologised and said ooops I forgot, with that aside she was a very pleasant young lady. When the meal arrived we noticed the waitress walk right past us with what looked like our order and went to the other side of the bistro searching for the table number & walked around looking at all the table numbers, as she looked over our way I picked the table number up so she could see it, eventually she made her way over to us and went to put my meal down she dropped the plate and alot of the chips fell off the plate as she reached for the fallen chips I thought she was going to put them on the plate thankfully she didn't. As I was looking at her name badge she apologised , Sharinin (wrong spelling) picked up the peas that spilled from my Husbands plate as she tipped it the wrong way. The Barramundi was delicious as was Hubby's Cottage pie. We had a look around the club and were impressed by the venue and the cleanliness. We made our way over to the Bakehouse Cafe and ordered cakes and coffee. The Latte was great and the cakes were delicious 😋. Kiera that served us was lovely and very friendly, she took our orders and answered our questions re the cakes , thanks to her recommendations we thoroughly enjoyed our choices. Arron cleared the table and was very friendly. Even though there was the little mishap in the bistro we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the club and will happily visit again to try the Dyanasty restaurant.

Tonight we dined in the bistro. My steak was perfectly rare, and I mean perfectly! Even where the steak was 1uite thin, it was perfectly rare. Its not something I see often with steaks that aren't a uniform width. I thought that was a talent to achieve that. My partner had the Caesar with the optional extra Grilled Atlantic Salmon filet. Also perfectly cooked.

This place can get 5 star. But the food from bistro last night took 49mins ! Like wow There is not enough workers hired in this place to support the amount of guests that arrive on weekends etc. literally 2 bar staff taking orders for 40+ people lining up. Kitchen staff inadequate 49min wait is not ideal this wasn’t for me but for 2 other tables next to me. The gaming lounge. Extremely inadequate staff taking drink orders. Ordered 3 times. No where to be seen. Had to escalate to front desk and then they brought it. 3 other colleagues also pressed the drinks no one appeared until we waived the workers down. Took the drinks order. 37 mins counting still no drinks. Gave up. You guys need to attend Wenties. It’s as big as yours but a lot of staff helping to assist ordered and quick. Again will go back but not until they sort out their service timings.

Came for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. The servings were large, price point was really good. Will definitely be coming back when I come down for another game. Keoni had exceptional customer service when we visited (after last game of regular season).
