I ate here about a week ago on Wednesday on the 4th of September and it was great. Once I had arrived at roughly 7pm, I had to wait a few minutes to then be seated at a comfortable table. Once I sat down, the first few tacos took only a few minutes to come out and the chicken taco tasted delicious! They had other types of tacos such as sausage, fish, pork and a few other varieties. We also ordered the churros that came with a type of dark chocolate sauce and they came shortly after and they were tasty as well. They did add a 10% gratuity to our bill which I find uncommon for restaurants to do. Overall, a great restaurant to eat at once in a while and it’s also located a short walk from Central Station, making it really easy to get to from a variety of train lines.
Tried most of their menu on a friday night. The drinks were good and exciting. The food was okay but not the best. Some were really oily and fatty. Staff were friendly but were not aware of some of the menus and couldn’t answer all the questions we had but they were nice and polite. We were sitting outside and it was a bit chilly and asked them to light up the heater but they said they are out gas which is really strange for a restaurant to be out of gasz
Went with friends for their Taco Tuesdays AYCE experience. The tacos were overall pretty great! My personal favourite is their fish taco, but we also really liked the beef brisket, pork and mushroom tacos as well. Our only complaint is that we were given a time limit of 1.5 hours to eat unlimited tacos, but we found that after around 45min-50min the waiters stopped coming to our table, so there was a decent period of time (~30min) where we didn’t eat any tacos at all. A waiter then came to our table 15min before our time was up to ask if we were ready to pay now or if we wanted to go for another 1.5 hours. We did ask about the tacos at this point and were offered some tacos after that, but we thought it was strange that we had to ask first in order to get them coming past our table again, considering we are paying for an AYCE experience that should go on for 1.5 hours.
Came on a Wednesday for the all you can eat tacos. Servers come around with options asking you if you want any of them. We went near closing time and at the end they asked if we wanted any specific flavours before the kitchen closed. The options were: Beef Brisket, Chicken, Chorizo, Pork, Cauliflower, Fish, Mushroom Best were the brisket, the fish and the cauliflower. Especially the fish which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. But overall all of the flavours were very good. Staff were also very friendly.
Came for the taco Tuesday deal. Unfortunately it was overrated. Many of the tacos were inconsistently filled. The pork and chorizo ones were fairly bland. The saving grace was the brisket, mushroom and chicken - they were tasty. Paulina and Margherita cocktails were fantastic
