Food is good, but very expensive. Chitarra pasta portion is way too small (it’s $39!) Service is fast. The restaurant is really really noisy. This is a decent choice in the area and they have basically everything you might be looking for. Take away gelato was really delicious too - pistachio flavor was intense in a good way.
Really great atmosphere. The food was also good, I had fish and chips and brussel sprouts. Friend ordered the steak + wine combo but he didn’t like how the steak was cooked. Overall great vibe and great place to unwind after Bondi - Coogee walk.
If you like sitting in a venue where the acoustics are so bad you struggle to hear what each other is saying and you rush to finish your meal so you can leave, then this is the place for you. The background music was foreground music and it got louder as the night progressed. Do you eardrums a favour and sit at the outdoor table. Our dishes were healthy and delish.
What a great place. Stopped there for coffee first then decided to come back for lunch. Great service, very tasty food and the view by the windows is stunning. Will come back for sure.
We recently dined at Coogee Pavilion and chose the $80 set menu, looking forward to a well-curated meal. Unfortunately, the char-grilled chicken was extremely salty, to the point of being almost inedible. Despite our attempts to scrape off the seasoning, the saltiness overwhelmed any other flavors in the dish. We mentioned it to the staff, who were friendly and genuinely apologetic, but it didn’t seem like this was an isolated issue. For an $80 set menu, we expected better quality control. While the service was great, we hope they adjust the seasoning on this dish, as it did put a damper on our overall experience.
