We stayed here about a week after it opened in December and it was absolutely amazing. We honestly felt so lucky and spoiled with the level of hospitality and customer service — everything exceeded our expectations! The staff were incredibly accommodating and really went above and beyond, especially with our storage requests. Huge shout-out to Alvin and Hannah — they were so friendly and genuinely made our stay extra special with thoughtful upgrades and great help around the facilities. The service and attentiveness were honestly 5-star. Our room was spotless, beautiful, and so comfortable, and the in-room dining was fresh and delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough — we’ll definitely be back!

Exceptional Service at Intercontinental I recently checked into the Intercontinental on December 30th for what was intended to be a three-night stay during the hotel's busiest period. As a newly opened establishment, I anticipated some minor teething problems; however, my expectations were exceeded in the most positive way. On the first morning of my stay, my son experienced a medical emergency, which transformed my short visit into a much longer stay than planned. In this challenging time, I cannot express enough gratitude for the compassionate care and professionalism exhibited by the staff. Every person I interacted with was incredibly kind and courteous, demonstrating a level of service that is truly commendable. The staff at this hotel are a real credit to the property, and their genuine concern for the well-being of guests made my family's stay significantly more comfortable during a stressful time. I’ve had the privilege of staying at over 26 Intercontinentals worldwide, and this one certainly ranks amongst the best. The room service menu was extensive and delicious, with prompt delivery that minimized any inconvenience. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and clean, as one would expect from such an esteemed hotel. The rooms are well equipped and very child-friendly, accommodating our family’s needs perfectly. Any requests we had were dealt with promptly, further demonstrating the attentive service culture that the hotel has cultivated. I had an incredibly comfortable and memorable stay at this hotel, and I truly cannot think of anything that needs improvement. From the moment I arrived, every staff member made me feel genuinely cared for. When I faced an unexpected problem during my stay, the staff did not hesitate to step in and help as if it were their own issue. Their kindness and sincerity were deeply moving, especially as this was my first time visiting Australia, and they made me feel truly welcomed. Although I regret that I cannot remember his name, I would especially like to thank the gentleman standing at the front desk near the main entrance. He wore glasses and carried himself like a manager who knew and cared deeply about the entire hotel. When I asked for help after a car accident, he supported me with such genuine concern that I was honestly brought to tears. If he happens to remember my name, Inseo Woo, I would love to express my heartfelt thanks to him once again. I am truly sorry I do not know his name. The hotel itself is absolutely lovely and beautiful. The room was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The recent renovation made the hotel feel modern, elegant, and uplifting throughout my stay. I also really appreciated the hotel’s eco-friendly efforts, such as the option to reuse towels and bed linens and the reusable water bottles in the room, which allowed me to avoid single-use plastics. Everything about this stay felt perfect. Once the renovation is fully completed, I would love to visit again to see how the hotel has evolved. I am certain it will be an even more wonderful experience. If I ever return to Australia, it will be because I want to stay at this hotel again.

Amazing experience! The most amazing view and room I have ever stayed in. The man in the lobby walked us up and gave us a full tour and was just above and beyond. The burger and club sandwich was also beyond delicious. I loved the all green aspect!

Stayed here this past week! Amazing service from all staff. It is lovely to be greeted and acknowledged as a welcomed guest. They really go above and beyond. Special shoutout to the breakfast staff for there impressive and prompt service. Very close to the beach and beautiful rooms. Can’t wait to return next year and see all the new amenities!
