This hotel was fantastic. The apartments are spacious and clean, the kitchen is well-equipped and the lounge areas are spacious. The bed was comfortable. There was Google chrome in every room. Loved the outdoor courtyard area and the small gym. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. I had injured my leg and had to mobilise on crutches as the last minute and they ensure we gave us a ground floor room with a walk in shower. They also helped me get things to my room (like uber eats) and were just really friendly. Some of the furniture was dated but didn’t bother me too much considering everything was so good otherwise
We had a really enjoyable stay at Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Chippendale. The one-bedroom apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and very clean, which made settling in easy. The amenities were excellent, and it was particularly toddler-friendly, which we really appreciated as a family. The staff were also warm, friendly, and always happy to help. The only downside was the use of the central courtyard as a function space. On the Saturday we stayed, there was a birthday party from around 3pm to 8pm, with people drinking and partying and loud music playing throughout. As our room faced the courtyard, the noise carried straight into the apartment and made it difficult to relax. If you’re hoping for quiet enjoyment in your room, especially on a Saturday afternoo, this is something to be aware of. It felt a bit unusual to have a shared courtyard used this way rather than a private function space. Overall, we had a great experience, but the courtyard events policy was a surprising drawback.
The hotel was nice and the staff were all lovely. However, we stayed in room 6 which has the bedroom on the corner right next to the road. It was very noisy whenever people walked past at night. You can literally hear people talking right behind you while you’re in bed, which isn’t ideal if you’re a light sleeper. I imagine other rooms on the first floor might be quieter.
Looks exactly as in the photos and we loved the bright look of the apartments and the outside area. You can hear a bit of noise from the neighboring rooms and the street as both walls and windows are a bit thin but we would definitely stay again. The cafe downstairs looked really nice but we didn’t get to eating there. Location is really close to restaurants and Victoria park.
Such a pleasant experience we had over the Melbourne Cup long weekend for a family wedding. All the staff went above and beyond and the accomodation and premises overall were well kept, clean and tidy. Highly recommended.
