We originally wanted to go to The Grounds but couldn't get a table, and we just stumbled upon this place by chance. So glad we did! It has an awesome industrial vibe that feels really unique. It’s also super kid-friendly and dog-friendly. I didn't have a huge appetite, so I actually just ordered a kids' meal for myself, and I loved that it came with a coloring book and pencils—such a sweet touch! The food was solid—not necessarily mind-blowing, but definitely enjoyable and tasty. Overall, a really great and unique experience. Highly recommend it for families with little ones or anyone looking for a cool spot to bring their dog!
South Eveleigh Locomotive Works is just such a unique spot! Wish food could have tasted a bit better but beers were so refreshing! Even better, it’s dog friendly both outdoors and indoors! They have free arcade games around the inside area which is a plus for families. They do both kids and furry friends menu too! Overall, a great spot for families!
Had a great pub lunch at BrewDog South Eveleigh with the kids and couldn’t fault the experience. The venue is massive and very family-friendly, with loads of open space where kids can ride around and burn off some energy while you relax. There’s plenty to do beyond just eating and drinking, we had a hit on the pickleball court, and there’s also a table tennis table and a large movable chess set, which were a big hit. It makes it a really easy place to spend a few hours without anyone getting bored. The food was solid pub-style and came out quickly, and the overall vibe was excellent with a DJ playing chilled Sunday tunes in the background. A great atmosphere, relaxed crowd, and a top spot for a laid-back family lunch. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
BrewDog is such a cool venue, set within an old train yard that’s been converted while still keeping plenty of old-school railway artefacts around. There’s lots to look at and it gives the place a really unique, industrial vibe. Super dog-friendly, which we loved. They even have a dog menu including a “dog beer” (chicken broth) and a Barkcuturie board loaded with treats, served on a chopping board. Such a fun touch and our dog was very impressed. Food was excellent. We ordered sweet potato chips, onion rings, chicken wings with buffalo sauce and chicken burgers, everything was delicious and came out quickly. Service was fast, polite and friendly throughout. There are also a few games around the pub, which adds to the relaxed, social atmosphere. Great spot for a casual drink, good food and bringing the dog along. Would definitely come back. 🍻🐶
Brew dog is a great brewery, one our favorites. Located in the old locomotive workshop building. Theres plenty to see and do around this brewery. They have a great selection of beverages, plenty of seating inside and outside although a few time we have visited and it has been quite busy. Comfortable atmosphere. Plenty of room for kids to run around. Great for the kids to bring a scooter or bike to ride around outside on the path. Great food menu. Never had a bad meal here. We are not from the area but travel to visit this brewery often. Conveniently located in close walking distance from Redfern train station. Good parking lot located a short walk from the brewery. Great history surrounding the brewery building. A really great atmosphere day and night. Love visiting this brewery.
