We had one of the best check in experiences. Started with a call the day prior to check in. On arrival we where warmly welcomed by Laura, she showed us to our room and then took us on a history tour of the property. But . . . the best was sipping on a glass of bubbles on the sundeck watching the sunset.
**Review for Echoes Boutique Hotel & Restaurant** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Echoes Boutique Hotel & Restaurant, and I cannot praise their exceptional service enough—especially the remarkable professionalism and support provided by Sabina. From the very beginning, even before my stay, she went above and beyond to assist me with my proposal plans. Her attention to detail and ability to solve various challenges made a significant difference in the planning process. During the execution of my proposal, Sabina continued to demonstrate her professionalism by accommodating my needs and ensuring that everything went smoothly. The success of my proposal can be attributed to her and the entire team at Echoes Boutique Hotel. The beautiful setup she created was perfect, and the timing was impeccable, leaving my fiancée deeply moved. My experience at the hotel was fantastic. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the views were breathtaking—exactly as depicted on the website, if not better. The daytime scenery of the Blue Mountains and the starry night sky were absolutely stunning. Additionally, the quality of the breakfast was outstanding; every dish was delicious, and enjoying it with the beautiful Blue Mountains as a backdrop was an unforgettable experience. As a touching gesture, when we were leaving to catch our train, Sabina went out of her way—without any obligation or responsibility—to personally drive us to the station. This extra effort truly warmed our hearts and exemplified the outstanding level of care provided by the hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend Echoes Boutique Hotel & Restaurant for anyone looking for a stunning location and top-notch service. Thank you, Sabina, and the entire team, for making my proposal a day to remember!
My fiancé and I spent 2 nights at this beautiful Hotel for his birthday. The service was impeccable from the moment we checked in! We had a room overlooking the valley, absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommended! The Restaurant was next level ♥️🙌🏼
We found this over-priced for a 4.5 star boutique hotel. The lobbies and Darley's Restaurant looked impeccable, and the staff were generally pleasant and helpful, but the rooms are in dire need of an update to meet the expectations of $600 a night. The size was good, and the view would have been excellent if we didn't have fog obscuring everything a few metres in front of our room. Otherwise, things like loose tiles in the bathroom, noise from other rooms and outside the spa treatment room, uncomfortable pillows, and inconvenient placement of powerpoints all combined to make it a hotel I couldn't recommend. If I had paid half the price for the room then these may not have bothered me as much as they did. But this is the most I have ever spent on a hotel room in Australia (the Four Seasons in Sydney which also had a lovely view, fine dining, amenities etc was $480) and I was sadly disappointed. I would recommend to the owners to invest in a room refresh, because obviously the views and locations are the selling points (but as mentioned before, don't assume you will get a view in winter or the surrounding months).
Disappointing room condition for the price. I heard the view was supposed to be great, so we stayed for two nights at over $500 a night, but all we saw was thick fog. The room wasn’t as comfortable or spacious as expected, with a musty smell, old furniture, a small floor space, and a cramped bathroom—it felt more like a low-budget motel. If you're looking for a view, make sure to pick a day with perfectly clear weather; otherwise, like us in winter, you might not see anything. The service was just okay, but the breakfast was delicious.
