My daughter and I have just spent two glorious days at Lilianfels. What a piece of paradise. The staff are gorgeous and so caring and friendly. OUR MASSAGES were out of this world! I had the incredible Larissa whose talent for massaging is the best I have ever experienced. I was floating for the rest of the day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you use Larissa! THANK YOU Larissa!
I'll start with the Spa which is fabulous! Five stars all the way. The staff are absolutely delightful -- especially brilliant Trudi and Bella. My husband and I had massages with Charlotte and Trudi. Try and book them if you can. Both massages were beyond outstanding. We arrived at the spa tense and tired, and left almost floating, feeling very relaxed and well taken care of. We can't wait to return for more massages, and to try some of their other treatments. Do not miss having one or more treatments at this Spa...the services are superb and the gorgeous staff are human treasures. The hotel also gets five stars all the way. The incredibly gracious front desk staff, and all staff in general are wonderful. They went out of their way to assist us with unplanned extras. We stayed in one of the lovely Lilianfels studios, which was perfect and had a lovely view. We will definitely return to this beautiful hotel and spa. Special thanks to Brian and Aurelie -- we are most grateful for your kind assistance. Also, special thanks to Trudi and Bella for the very warm reception at the Spa. The people who work at Lilianfels make this place stand out as one of the best experiences we have had in a hotel and spa anywhere in the world. Thank you!
My family and I have stayed at Lilianfels every other Christmas for about 7 or 8 years now to have a break and see family locally. Most years it has been excellent and, with this, the reason why we return. This Christmas, was simply nowhere near worth the money. The food was extremely poor, service way below standard (only two people running the Lounge Bar Kitchen for Christmas Evening Dinner causing many people to wait over an hour for their food), and for a hotel of this standing the rooms are starting to look tired with fading wallpaper and poor bedding. I am very disappointed because previously it was a very well run, and luxurious hotel. I do not blame the floor staff, I blame the management who aren't thinking long term reputation - just get a quick buck. Having worked in the hospitality industry, its these signs that say that either the hotel is struggling or the ethos of management/owner is not about return business but 'quick money' from one-time stays. Its time for a change! In 2024 - thi was not worth the money. I do hope they turn it around but this is a cut throat industry and I know you can find better in the Blue Mountains for your $$$. My family will be looking elsewhere.
stayed the night and the place is beautiful. Highlight of the whole experience was Eva down in the spa! She is absolutely incredible at what she does and such a pleasure to be around! The girls at the reception in the spa were also absolutely phenomenal! highly recommend heading down for a massage or facial with Eva❤️
A treat for those who can afford it. And thanks for that. The staff was incredibly, extra polite. Landscape was unbelievable. Such detail. Christmas eve and Day. We stayed. Pool was grand. Must swim in it. Warm and clean. Gym had decent machines. Just a special unique place. 5 stars.
