The Sandbar
Ideal for large events, of all kinds. Whether cocktail style with a more relaxed vibe or a formal setting: this space is our more versatile. Including a private bar, this space is truly perfect for any occasion. Catering to a maximum of 110 people.
The Mezzanine
With views extending to the Watagan Mountains and flanked by glass walls and a mezzanine balcony, The Lagoon is ideal for open entertainment. Isolated but not secluded, The Lagoon sits directly on top of our kids play area and only steps away from our elaborate craft bar. The Lagoon seats up to 30 people with the style between formal and casual.
Rockpool
This space featuring a round table setting and large leather office chairs, making this room perfect for those looking for a boardroom space to host corporate meetings or training days.
The Island
Our largest private function room, with natural lighting. This room is capable of being a boardroom, a theatre or intimate cocktail party. Our Island space is sure to impress. Don’t forget The Island adjoins The Cove to cater for that slightly larger function.
The Cove
A smaller private space, perfect for a more intimate and formal event. Adjoining Atlantis and The Island, The Cove may be booked separately or for larger function as the sliding glass doors roll back to create 1, 2 or 3 rooms.
Atlantis Room
Ideal for private dinners, small function gatherings and corporate meetings. Atlantis provides a pleasant and intimate atmosphere. Can be adjoined to the Cove the make for extra space if needed

Holistic Help
Tash Eliza and Drew were an excellent choice for lunch at the Mattara in Charlestown. I had lunch on Friday and the service was warm, fast and welcoming. The T-bone steak was cooked perfectly, full of flavour, and the Caesar salad was fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere, great service — especially from Tash — who made the whole experience easy.

Came in for a pre-movie dinner and left with a full stomach, a slight salt hangover, and a newfound appreciation for unsalted potatoes. First things first: serving sizes are generous for the price — no complaints there. The food itself? Let’s call it “enthusiastically average,” which is about what you expect from a pub meal. It showed up quickly too, though with fewer than 20 pax in the place, the kitchen wasn’t exactly under siege. Now, the hot chips… wow. Somewhere between the fryer and my table, they were absolutely obliterated with salt or seasoning. I’m talking archaeological layers of sodium. Most of them were borderline inedible unless you’re training for a mountain goat salt-licking competition. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we waved the white flag and asked for takeaway containers so we could dash across to the movies. No issues there — solid service. The ordering setup is a bit of a mixed bag. The QR code on the table makes it super easy to order from your phone, which is convenient… but also slightly depressing. There’s something missing when your “server” is your own thumb and a screen. I came out for dinner, not to text my meal into existence. Drinks were priced as expected for a suburban pub, and credit where it’s due — the beer was clean. No floaties, no surprises, just a decent Schooner. They even have a reasonable selection. That said, and one small plea from someone who’s has been a publican— never pour a schooner of Super Dry in one go. A good beer deserves a proper pour, not a rushed splash. Also, small note: the laminated paper menus could use a redesign. Reading them felt like trying to follow a novel where the chapters are slightly out of order.
