Rooms are always clean, tidy and very well turned out. Location is great, with a quick trip into the city, or other areas if that is what you need. There is a serious lack of parking though - even on the weekend, and you can't charge your car overnight if is an electric vehicle.
Comfortable apartment with plenty of space. Quiet on the ground floor and a good bed. The kitchen has everything you need. Bathroom with great shower and laundry facilities. Amenities and hair dryer supplied. Free outside parking, although it can be difficult to find a spot. Recommend cafe next door! Attention to cleaning needed and a few scuffs and wear and tear on the doors. The reception staff were friendly and efficient.
I am extremely disappointed with the experience I've had with Quest Macqaurie Park and would not recommend to anyone. I stayed a couple of nights for a wedding and spent most of my time out of the room apart from sleeping and breakfasts. I was charged over $150 for steam cleaning 2 stains on the carpet that I am certain was not from myself. I've reached out multiple times to dispute this but have been ignored. The stains were so small and I'd think that you would try and spot clean them. They did provide photos but they could be from any room, from any time frame and there is a possibility that these were from a previous guest. I'm lucky to have the opportunity to take multiple vacations every year and stay in hotels and have never been charged for damage, stains or misuse of rooms. I've never been ignored by other establishments or been treated so poorly. To make matters worse, during my stay, my brother in law cancelled his room with more than 24 hour notice and they still charged him. Even worse, when he came back and asked to stay in the room they had already booked it out. I am beyond disgusted in how this business operates and treats its customers and would suggest anyone who can cancel their stay here does. If you cannot, take photos of every surface of your room. Then again, they'd probably ignore you even if you did have some evidence. They may have made some quick cash from dodgy practices but no one I know will ever stay at one of their hotels and I definitely won't be quiet about my experience. More than willing to take this as far as I possibly can.
Quite expensive for an average location and an average room. I was given a disabled room for some reason, so there was an open shower, which was a nightmare. Water EVERYWHERE. Bed was comfy, couch was not. Sound bar in the room didn't work. Next time I'm in Sydney I'll definitely stay elsewhere
Clean and spacious rooms, very convenient location right on Epping Rd. Staff are pleasant and efficient. One down side is that there is no cafe, and the nearest place is in the building next door and opens at 7am - if it is raining you will need an umbrella! For dinner you also need to find a pub or restaurant which is definitely a car ride away. The nearest pub is The Governor, located around a 2 minute drive around the block (literally). It has a decent range of standard Aussie pub fare and a fairly good range of beers etc.
