Had a short stay here. Rooms are nice, but they are starting to show their age. The whole place could do with a little facelit. The beds are very comfortable. The food was good but a little bit pricey for what you get.. easy parking and wasn't hard to find.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and location is amazing. But the balcony was shared across the whole floor. Unfortunately, we were being kept up all night by other people on the shared balcony walking up and down past adjacent rooms and talking right in front of our balcony door. You also can’t open your blind without others being able to see into your room which is a huge let down. Understandably, this may be the way the building was designed, but some privacy glass at the very least between the rooms on the balcony would make this place 5 stars. I’d love to come back but the view doesn’t make-up for people being able to see into your room.

Having stayed here last time 2 years ago nothing has changed, the bed is comfortable, room is clean and the staff are friendly. My room had a great view of the racetrack and beyond. The rooms are quite affordable compared to other available hotels in the area. I will be back here in future visits.

This is not a good hotel. The rooms were dirty, in need of maintenance and the staff were unhelpful. In my room the decorative pillows had disgusting white stains, the drains reeked and little things were missing/broken e.g. the sink stopper. The information pamphlet said the pool was open for the summer, but it was FULL of leaves. This was not a matter of a few leaves falling in that day, it was completely unusable. Many people in the lifts we encountered commented on their disappointment. You should not have to request that the hotel maintain the common areas so they can be enjoyed. Lastly, the staff at the front desk were unhelpful. We left an item in the bar, called ahead and went down to see if it was found and were told that they don't communicate with downstairs about stuff like that. This place is in need of more care and thoughtful management.

We had an amazing dinner last night at Rydges Bathurst restaurant, And the staff were fantastic warm and welcoming ,Specially Chef Abby who had chat with us and cooked our meals was great experience. We had Garlic prawns & lamb chops ,food was impeccable, delicious and gorgeously presented. The atmosphere was convivial and inviting. We certainly be back for great food and service.
