Located at 11 Montgomery Street, Mount Victoria, Hotel Etico is Australia’s first social enterprise hotel. Our Independence Program employs and trains young people with disability, providing them with hospitality and independent living skills allowing them to achieve their independence goals. Hotel Etico offers your team a unique experience through the interaction with our trainees. My husband and I stayed at Hotel Etico and will definitely be back! The food at the restaurant was amazing, particularly the beef shoulder was unbelievably delicious. The hotel is grand and very romantic with fireplaces throughout. We had a drink before dinner sitting in front of a fireplace and immediately said we’d be back. The room was very comfortable with heated blankets and crisp linen. The buffet breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety (hot food, continental, fruit, pastries etc). We felt so relaxed after our stay and recommended it to all our friends and family!

The most stunning hotel that was the backdrop to getting ready for our wedding - from the moment we enquired about rooms and ended up with booking 7 different rooms for our family & bridal party, Hotel Etico was nothing short of helpful and accommodating. We were even given a tour of the hotel and rooms ahead of our stay. Beds were super comfortable, gorgeous amenities and they even reset our room as a bridal suite after the wedding - so many little touches like this just made our stay so special. The breakfast buffet was abundant and even had options for our vegan and vegetarian friends. Looking forward to seeing our photos from getting ready and to coming back again soon!

My husband and I stayed just one night and were so impressed. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast which is included in the price, and very reasonably priced. We love it that this business trains up those who need a little extra help and care, to be employed in hospitality. A great, and much needed, business. Will definitely stay again.

4 of us had a lovely meal at etico last night. Pizza, pasta and slow cooked beef were all beautiful as were the “home cooked” deserts. Service was friendly and efficient. Dining room is lovely, the open fires add to the atmosphere. A lovely place to spend an evening with friends enjoying good food. We will definitely be back.

We joined for dinner with a family group last night and really enjoyed the experience. Food was excellent I had the lamb and greens and really enjoyed it. There were a few minor mix ups but all dealt with quickly and efficiently and in a lovely manner.
