Located at 11 Montgomery Street, Mount Victoria, Hotel Etico is Australia’s first social enterprise hotel. Our Independence Program employs and trains young people with disability, providing them with hospitality and independent living skills allowing them to achieve their independence goals. Hotel Etico offers your team a unique experience through the interaction with our trainees. We got in late but the service to help us check in was terrific. The room and hotel was full of character, history and charm. Everything was clean and well serviced. The room's appeal was relaxing, comfortable and blended a traditional feel with the contemporary well. Being on the move, we didn't get to enjoy it to its full potential so look forward to an opportunity to stay here again in the future. A great place to stay & explore the Blue Mountains.

Loved our stay here. Every aspect of this establishment, ( rooms, service, food, decorations...) showed an attention to detail to provide a quality experience for the client. Be aware that you will be served by trainees who have special needs, but are supervised by some very competent individuals. This is an opportunity to help somebody further their career while enjoying the vacation. Their are also a number of sitting rooms, verandahs and nooks available if you wish to sit quietly and enjoy a book / drink / chat Will I return - Yep, you betcha

From the minute you walk I to hotel Etico you realise this place is differ t. There is such a warm and vibrant energy and if you are lucky, like we were, great live music. From the cleanliness of the rooms to the relaxed dining and great food. It is clear that the managers of this hotel know how to create a workable, lively, sustainable and inclusive social enterprise. We will be back for sure.

Have visited Etico’s restaurant for dinner quite a few times and cannot recommend it highly enough. Wonderful food, fabulous service by the best staff you’ll ever encounter, and a terrific laid back atmosphere. This is a very special place - a must-visit in Mt Victoria. A great spot to stay a few nights and enjoy the views, history and laughs.

We enjoyed dinner at Hotel Etico for 20 people over the Easter 2025. The staff were magnificent (as always) and the food - outstanding. We are big fans of Etico and will come back again!
