Good afternoon. I would like to apologise for not replying earlier tot your email. We had a wonderful stay at your hotel in April. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We very much appreciated the room upgrade. We come to visit relatives at Prestons quite often every year and your hotel is our go to. Thank you once again for the wonderful stay we had at your hotel. Regards Lynn B
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights from 14-16 march. Staff were okay at the reception. Rooms are good sized. The rooms however lacks basic amenities like water bottles. I checked in at 11pm and was shocked to see no water bottles. Called reception and was told it’s $4 a bottle or bring your bottle to refill from lobby. No toothbrush in the bathroom. Had to go down at 12am to get water and toothbrush kit from reception. Bathroom had a distinct smell of mould. I could see mould growing in the cavity of shower screen. Never cleaned by hospitality staff. The quilts were folded in funny way. A quilt wrapped in 2 bed sheets. When I lift the quilt, the quilt stays and the bedsheet comes off. Overall, don’t expect such from a 4 star hotel. Stayed at this hotel as my IHG hotels were not available in the area.
Great friendly staff, attended to all our needs and requests quickly and promptly. I felt bad for asking so many questions and needing things brought up to my room but they were happy to oblige and nothing was a problem. We’d driven from Byron Bay and were mid journey back to Melbourne and were beyond exhausted ..this place was a nice welcome and much needed reprieve. Nice and clean, pillows were a little uncomfortable but that’s just me (too firm for me) .. sheets were fresh n clean and I slept very well. Gardenia flowers growing outside the pool area were superb and in top top condition with their beautiful fragrance. Overall, decent price also.
Location is good for visiting family in Liverpool. Room looked good, but didn't function well, e.g., beds were old and bumpy (sofa bed didn't open all the way), shower door didn't close properly, no plates or cutlery, no microwave. The breakfast buffet area was freezing. Guest memberships for the Catholic Club were not honoured, so we had to pay full price.
It’s ok but nothing to write home about. Location is really not good and other than that it’s just a huge hotel. Bathrooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Plenty of space. Price is on the higher side of things for my feeling. Breakfast was much better a few years ago. If you can, just skip eating there and go elsewhere for food.
