I've been there years ago and was pleasantly surprised that it is still so very good. Service was pleasant even though after multiple attempts, the waiter still couldn't get the table from wobbling. If you sit in a booth, it can get really hot, and somehow, the noise just really centres there. Having said that, the food is divine. Whatever they are doing to that lamb, OMG keep doing it. And the dessert was to die for. Had the set menu (the pricier one), and it was well worth it. Only disappointment was our replacement choice for one of the dishes due to allergies. It didn't go with the whole flow, but that was not as designed. I would and have definitely recommended it.
Food is good, service was very slow. We came for a work lunch and it took over 2.5hrs to serve us the banquet! We asked the staff to bring the mains quicker but it didn't seem to make a difference to the speed of service. The restaurant was less than half full too.
Had lunch here and the food taste and presentation was wonderful. The flavours were very distinct and when we sliced open the lamb, the aroma dazzled my nose. Will definitely come again.
Best meal in Sydney and flavours I will hopefully never forget. Truly astounding. This lamb dish was so light yet so filling, the meat melting in the mouth, and the sauces... love. And the chocolate mousse with hokey pokey and hazelnuts should not be passed up. One of the greatest desserts ever. And top-shelf service!
Indu Dining offers a good range of Sri Lankan dishes, though different from the street food I expected. The drink selection is excellent, especially the gin mocktails. We enjoyed the cozy booth seating and the casual vibe. Portions are moderate but satisfying. Service was fast and friendly.
