Visiting Madame Tussauds was a hilarious amount of fun! The museum is organised really well and caters to a smooth flow of visitors. Each section has a different theme, which allows a lot of wax figures to be displayed. There are a range of historic people as well as modern-day celebrities. Many Australian personalities are included as well as international stars. We particularly liked the DC display and the one with E.T. The figures can either just be viewed or interacted with. In order to get the most out of your experience here, I would highly recommend interacting with the figures and displays. Staff were excellent throughout the museum. They appeared happy and like they too were having fun. They were helpful and courteous.
Date of visit: 2024 Sep 02. Time of visit: 2.45 pm to 3.45 pm. Overall: 9/10. Sight Seeing: 8. Activity: 9. Indoor Air Conditioning: 9. Ambience: 9. Location: 10. Expected activity 1 to 1.5 hours. Sight Seeing: There are many exhibits and all the figurines are really life like. It was great and fun to make so many poses for photographs. Recommended to go for a visit together with other nearby attractions. Location: It is located within Sydney Central Business District, and is close to multiple hotels, attractions and shopping.
Umm hello, I did not expect this! After finishing at the aquarium the kids asked if we could go in to the ‘wax house’ (🤦🏼♀️) so off we went! Jumped online and brought the tickets (how easy is that?) the museum was clean and the air con was much appreciated on a muggy Sydney day. We had an absolute BALL in here! loved that we could get up close with the exhibits and the props and costumes to play with was so much fun! The kids didn’t even know who half the celebrities were but still had the best time.
Unique experience with impressive wax figures. If it's your first time at wax museum, you might find it a bit creepy. The wax figures are impressively detailed, but there’s an uncanny valley effect that can be unsettling. The space is relatively small and can be explored in under an hour. While it’s enjoyable to take photos with the statues, the overall experience might not be as interactive as some would hope. It's a decent stop for a quick visit.
Madame Tussauds exceeded my expectations. It is a must-visit for anyone interested in history, pop culture, or entertainment. The attention to detail in the wax figures is impressive, and the interactive exhibits made it a fun day out for the whole family. I highly recommend it for families, couples, and solo visitors alike.
