When we think of the best German food and beer in Sydney, this is the first place that comes to mind. The food is always amazing and never disappoints us. We always enjoy our time here and have an amazing experience. The Tasting Platter for One is highly recommended for anyone wanting to try a bit of everything. It's a great value and very satisfying. Highly recommended place to visit in Sydney.

Food and atmosphere was great, service was polite but we had to go get our own cutlery and serviettes after food was put on the table - how were we meant to eat it otherwise? Can’t butter pretzels without a knife! I noticed another table had to ask for plates which they eventually received. Wait staff, you’re lovely but please ensure diners have utensils and plates when you bring out their food!

Pretty good food. Huge servings and a pretty comprehensive menu. Shared the tasting plate and also had some fries and a jalapeno pretzel. Overall a decent place to grab a feed and have some nice German beer.

Excellent german meat plates. I think the 52pp one is a bit much for two. Maybe go for taster unless you really wanna eat the knuckle. Great local and German bier here! Stylish establishment. Helpful staff.

Be aware. They offer sparkling water as if they were offering tap water, then they charge you $12 for it. Also prices in menu are misleading. When it says PP it is the price per person. So don't make the same mistake as we did ordering a $55 meal and getting the bill as $110. It was a real surprise, we wouldn't have ordered it if they had been clear about it. They are full of tricks. Not coming back again.
