This place is centrally located But the room was very cold. We reported this to management three times. We even set the temperature at 35.5 degrees Celsius ( most settings only allow 28 degrees) but after two hours the room was not warm. It was warmer in the lobby foyer than in our room. I would not stay at this hotel in winter
Great location. I was lucky to receive great service when I checked in from Larissa, who was new to the property but really went above and beyond in treating me kindly and patiently when I was just off a transoceanic flight. I also heard several other service interactions with other guests and they were just exemplary. I would definitely stay here again.
Great stay on many levels. Great customer service, very clean, buffet breakfasts were wonderful and especially the fresh juice maker with fruit and veg right there to use machine-brilliant! Room service great and kids size meals a good size. Lifts are quick and 3 to use when hotel was crowded so you are not waiting long. Pool a great temperature being heater but much smaller than the photos depict on website. Gym well facilitated . Great value for money too . Nice and close to tram line and so easy to get to Circular Quay and connect to trains and all places . Honestly can't really fault.
After a disappointing experience at another hotel that left us somewhat stranded, Novotel was absolutely amazing. A quick 5 minute call was all it took to have a room reserved for us, with Rachel being exceptionally helpful and friendly over the phone. She happily answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable, and was even nice enough to find a cheaper rate after already quoting me a price. The reception staff were amazing and had us parked and checked in in no time. Regina was super friendly and an absolute delight to interact with. The hotel is very well presented and our room was spotless with everything cleaned perfectly. The pump soaps and lotions in the bathroom are a nice touch compared to other single use soaps at most hotels. We were also pleasantly surprised by a NYE gift of champagne and a box of snacks waiting for us in the room after watching the midnight fireworks, a very nice gesture that made our stay even more memorable. I cannot thank the Novotel Sydney Central staff enough for accommodating our NYE holiday with such short notice and for being so friendly throughout the entire process. I would most definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sydney.
From check in to departure the whole experience was excellent. The room was comfortable, the shower was very good. The buffet breakfast was the way to start the day. One block to Wynyard railway station. Patrick was so helpful on check in. I would recommend this hotel if you are going to Sydney for business or pleasure. The other team members were great and helpful.
