The most beautiful peaceful place & generous menu offering. Situated inside the Chinese gardens and overlooking the water they offer a Yum Cha menu for lunch, which was very tasty and varied. Service was really friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable & the vibe total tranquility. A must when in the area.
The service at this restaurant is outstanding, with each staff member being professional and enthusiastic. They are knowledgeable about the menu and can recommend dishes based on your preferences. From ordering to dining, their attentiveness makes for an excellent dining experience. Highly recommended to friends!
The atmosphere and theming is amazing! Being surrounded by the Chinese Garden of Friendship gives a serenity and calmness that the restaurant's quiet background music enhances. The service was kind, friendly and even adjusted to our dietary requirements. The food itself is delicious and well-presented. I especially recommend the "Volcano Custard Bun". This restaurant is just starting out, and they are already doing amazing, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, calming meal.
Asked the staff for info about the food but they didn’t seem to know much about it. They did try to help as much as they could. Mostly upsold the package. Don’t get it. The dimsum were soggy, the spring rolls are like dry like twigs. The best thing we had was the braised pork which they discouraged us from ordering in the first place. The view also doesn’t even overlook the gardens proper. The “waterfall” view is a small water feature so you’re really looking at a wall. You also have to pay to get into the garden, even if you’re just there for food. Point is, there’s better food for a better price elsewhere in Chinatown. And if you want the ambiance, you won’t get it. Better gardens elsewhere in Sydney. Nice try though!
Our lunchtime yum chat was delicious and the environment was superb (beside those cheeky lizard!)
