Paddo inn, The burger was very, very good. You can really tell the meat is high quality, well cooked and full of flavor. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to take a photo of the burger itself, but it was definitely worth it. The fries were also great — you can tell they’re made with good ingredients and well prepared, not overly greasy. The place is highly recommended. It has a nice atmosphere, and on Sundays there is live music, which adds a great vibe to the experience. The staff was attentive and friendly. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained, which shows there is good management behind the place. The venue looks a bit old or vintage, but that’s part of its character and charm

Aggressive security, poorly managed by the manager. Really poor response overall. Sexist actions by security guard who approached my husband to tell me that I had to leave without having a conversation with me. Reason given was “being too loud”. Apparently that’s a sign of intoxication at 7pm on a Friday night in a loud pub. Would LOVE to see the footage of me enjoying myself too loudly. Some friends we made at the bar left in solidarity and we went onto another 3 venues with no issues. Update: As I am unable to respond to your response- I urge you to review the footage of this time, from this you will be able to see 1. A non intoxicated person having a great time in a 150 decibel pub that was turning into a dancefloor 2. A security guard deciding to find my husband who was separated from me, to tell him, to tell me that I need to leave. Not a single conversation with myself which would have avoided this whole unpleasant experience for everyone 3. Appropriately expressed frustration, articulating myself in response to the bizarre experience. I don’t know what else this behaviour could have been other than sexism. As someone who has an RSA myself, I’m pretty sure this isn’t the way to manage such an interaction. Would welcome a conversation from you if you would like to chat further, it really put a dampener on the night.

Mixed feelings about the Paddo Inn. We ordered via the app on the table and two of our orders arrived in the expected time, the third order was lost somewhere and almost an hour to sort out. The order receipt was provided various staff and we were told numerous times either the kitchen was busy to the order never went through the to kitchen. The steak finally arrived and it was good and they did comp, but still, not the best service in trying to sort out the order. The schnitzel were a decent meal but they there lukewarm at best and the chips were bordering on cold. The pub is nice and has a warm atmosphere but the indifference of the staff doesn’t scream ‘come back’. Overall disappointing.

Simply asked to use a charger because my phone had run out of power in the middle of the day for 30seconds so I could get into my car. Don’t have phone chargers behind the bar however I could rent one for $8.5 an hour. Which I can’t because phone is also my wallet. Good luck see you later. Total joke. Lucky I live around the corner. I’m sick of these overly commercialised pubs that just bring drivel into our suburbs and then refuse to be a decent member of the community. Avoid this corporate drags on society.

Always a pleasant experience at the Paddo Inn. Had the Sunday roast and was completely impressed by the portion size. Great atmosphere with a jazz band - engaging duo with a lively audience. Lots of different break out areas within the bar and an inside smoko area. A great local with friendly staff, come with friends for, watching live sport or watch the world go by on Oxford Street.
