Special thanks to Junior who took exceptional care of my partner & I. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit to this fine restaurant. The food was simply stunning.
Perfect for lunch. Relaxed atmosphere. Mia was friendly and professional. Patient and checked in on us. Fast but not fussy service. We were left alone for the most part to enjoy our stay.
Food is exceptional! Fine dining with a twist of style. Every dish I ate was a culinary masterpiece. I like the staff cares for how the meal looks as well as how it tastes. Sous vide salmon made me a convert toward sous vide fish! Tuesdays are $3 oysters. Must try for oyster lovers. The atmosphere has a SOHO, nYc vibe. Gen Z, Millennials would love this place. Hip and trendy, like their food. Great for socials.
Whilst the food at Reign is pretty good, i do feel they need to up the ante with the wine service. Thought i would treat my mum to a boxing day glass of Fleury blanc de noir, where at $42 a glass the least i expect is the bubbles to be poured at the table, presenting the bottle? This was by passed for my two glasses of wine too, with the glasses just turning up from the dispense bar. With the total bill at $254.15 for two (including 15% public holiday surcharge) I really feel a little let down by the wine service. Kinda felt like they thought we were tourists and not worth the extra mile, while the table next to us had the full pouring experience at the table.
Third time here - We were looked after by Arthur and spent three and a half hours at our table. The ambiance was great, we didn’t feel rushed at any point. Food was delicious but mostly the service was wonderful. Arthur checked in at good times (not too much and not too little), we were able to ask plenty of questions about the food and drinks and felt like our server was very knowledgeable. Overall a great experience, highly recommend and will come back again.
