The hotel is being renovated, so the restaurant was not operating, and the lifts were cladded. Having said that, the renovated room was superb, spacious, modern and functional. Huge TV, spacious bathroom, very comfortable bed. A bit of an uphill walk from North Sydney, but it is only 700 meters and it is quite pleasant. Overall I was very satisfied with the staff and the room.

Room was nice, but no small milk for coffee. Hot water wasn't working one morning due to fault. Hot water in shower is hard to set goes from cold to very hot. Currently under some heavy construction so problems could be fixed.

The room was very comfortable and everything was on point. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They accommodated my special needs of storing my mobility scooter and having my service dog in the hotel. They were in the middle of major renovations and had noises, smells and shut off's happening during the day but they really did prioritise the guests and made sure I was very comfortable. This was a fantastic place to stay for the week and will be even better when the building work is finished.

The Miller is currently under necessary renovation. If you accept current minor disruption, room prices are a bargain. We enjoyed a beautifully renovated room with thoughtful design and everything working well. Quiet at night for a peaceful sleep. Excellent service, we were allowed an early check in from the pleasant staff member. We will be back!

The service was terrible! My key didn't work and went to ask for a mew one and the receptionist literally threw a new one at me with a face I'll never forget (as if I did something wrong). Bathroom was full of mould, the place under construction and we never told this in advance, let alone we pay full fare per night. Booked for 2 adults and 2 kids and we were given 2 single beds, no extra linen for the kids.... In the morning I put the sign on the door to get my room cleaned and came back after 4 hours with no clean room (even though when I left, the cleaners were working on our floor). Came back to put my kids for a nap and get knocked on the door for cleaning, which I refused. When they woke up, asked for a change of bins and they told me that it was too late as no cleaners were on site (it was 3.30pm). Again, the face of the receptionists when I kindly insisted I needed a change of bins at least, it was one to remember.... I stayed at better motels, for a fraction of the price and this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel..... Great location though on beautiful North Sydney but the service and amenities made it below average for sure. Would not come back or recommend staying here at all.
