We hired The Royal Exchange for our wedding reception and had a thoroughly fantastic experience. Before the event we were welcome to drop by beforehand and to sample the menu options, discuss table layouts and other details. Alistair and Danielle were very receptive to our requirements and went above and beyond to meet our needs (including creating a special area for children attending reception), which made for a great evening on the day - including some curveballs that the Exchange team handled beautifully. Several of our guests mentioned specifically how great the service and food had been. All in all, selecting The Royal Exchange for our event turned out to be a wonderful choice. Excellent location, dining and service through and through. We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone needing a venue for their wedding reception, birthday or any special occasion in Sydney CBD. You won't be disappointed! My Uni alumni association hosted a ~100 person event here and it was fantastic. Canapes were yummy, bar was stocked, and service was great. Very easy to work with too! A great venue in central CBD.
We had our wedding reception at the Royal Exchange. I don't normally write reviews, but their impeccable service warranted it. Alistair and Danielle made our night absolutely seamless - delicious canapés, filling and hearty mains, and mouth-watering dessert. Our vegetarian friends were raving about their meals, and their consideration for dietary requirements extended to the canapés! The wine, especially the champagne, was divine. The venue is classic, with the perfect ambiance for chatter and a thumping dance floor! Working with Danielle and Alistair brought our vision to light, in a friction-less, perfect experience. We couldn't have asked for anything more!
Thank you to the amazing team at the Royal Exchange for hosting our wedding reception. It was just a perfect evening, the staff were fantastic and so attentive, not to mention all our guests loved the food. The venue is also just magical - We had the whole venue to ourselves and was so private and magical in a central location. The cherry on top was just the seamless experience end to end with with Alistair and Danielle who just go over and above. Thank you so much!!
