Personally the food and tea here is pretty good but you’re really here more for the aesthetic of the place. It’s very spacious and well decorated to look fancy. There’s a large selection of tea and it tasted of good quality and hot water is refilled when needed. The food surprisingly quite filling and tasted decent. The service here was nice as they were hospitable. We had a newer staff member who was a little clumsy but she was nice. The darker male waiter did give off a pretentious vibe but that could be how he is. The toilets are a bit of travel to get to but staff were helpful in guiding you through.

We just had our wedding in the tea room and it was the most perfect night. Arabella was so helpful with helping plan and coordinate the night and really put my mind at ease through the whole process. Many of our guests commented about how lovely the venue is and that the food was exceptional. The service team of the night were so lovely and the service itself was top quality. Could not have asked for a better venue and team to help us host the best day of our lives.

Given a high tea as a gift. Lovely experience, wonderful hot and cold finger food and selection of teas, beautiful space and requires time to enjoy. All staff were extremely polite and contributed to a relaxed but not stuffy atmosphere. Highly recommend as something to be experienced.

The most beautiful event space in Sydney. We had our wedding reception here and the package was really well priced and generous. It also included a wedding coordinator (we had Arabella) who was fantastic and constantly went above and beyond for us to organise everything. Would definitely recommend!

I had a ridiculously expensive afternoon tea on Saturday, 8 April 2023 at this venue. The front desk and waiting staff were fabulous. The food was good, but nothing out of the ordinary/noteworthy. Each person received three finger sandwiches, one scone with jam and preserves, and 4 petits fours with a pot of tea for the best part of $100 per head. At that price, it really should be very very good. The selection of teas was very good, as were the crockery and the decor. I got charged a $20 surcharge for a public holiday, even though it was on a Saturday, which I thought was a bit over the top. Sadly, as I was leaving the venue, I visited the restrooms and observed one of the staff exiting one of the cubicles and leaving without washing his hands. This I thought was completely unreasonable and reported to the front desk. While the food was almost (but not quite) acceptable at $100 a head, I couldn’t recommend this place, especially given the hygiene practices of the kitchen staff. Update following the reply from the venue - Thanks for getting back to me, I struggle to comprehend/see how the staff member did not work at the Tea Room as he entered the "Back of house" via the Staff only door half way along the corridor on the left on the way back to the lovely Tea Room itself...?.
