I enjoyed a gin and tea for 2 as a late birthday present here, and it was an all-around lovely experience. The service was great and the food was delicious. You can tell attention has been put into every item. The drinks were also great, with some unique options. Recommend it for a special occasion.

I was gifted a scotch experience for an anniversary present and it didn’t disappoint. James was an excellent host who was knowledgeable and engaging. We enjoyed sampling and learning about a wide range of Scotches from the different regions. We also enjoyed canapés and dinner, with all of the food being delicious and well presented. Also, the cocktail selection is excellent. The decor and atmosphere has been well crafted, giving a relaxed and intimate vibe. The staff were all helpful and friendly, thanks for the great service Hugo, Christian & James! We look forward to returning to try the tequila experience, or the Duck & Pinot night!

As a self-proclaimed whisky amateur, I was a gifted Japanese whisky-tasting class here to expand my palate of knowledge. The Fox Hole is a tidy, intimate bar, where my partner and I sat for a cocktail from the extensive list before the tasting experience, where the staff said they would grab us when they were ready. My partner, although a non-participant, was invited to sit with us to at least enjoy the atmosphere of the tasting, a there were only two other guests. The space at a squeeze could hold maybe eight comfortably, which I feel is big enough to emphasise the personable experience that it was. The host was knowledgeable, engaging, and thorough with his information. He was interactive and educational without prompting people to what they should experience with their tasting. We covered six whiskies in total, ranging in flavour, intensity, history, age, and price (though price never spoken of), and some whiskies came with snacks to compliment the flavours. Would certainly do this again. The only feedback I have, which was based purely on aesthetics, was that most of the bottles used during the experience were well-used. I understand that as a working bar, they're going to get used; however, to then display them at the front as the session progressed just didn't please the eye. I have also looked at maybe a card at the end with information, etc, on the whiskies for us to research in our own time. Staff overall at the venue were lovely, polite, interactive, and would visit again. After the experience, my partner and I stayed for dinner. We got the wild mushroom arancini balls, posh sausage rolls, butter chicken, and flaky pasty been burgundy pie. Admittedly, the entrees set a standard the mains couldn't meet, as the mash and gravy resembled more of a soup, leaving my not-so-flaky pastry chillin like a jellyfish in the middle. The butter chicken ( the most popular dish according to staff ) had a good flavour and portion size but also failed to meet the standards and presentation set by the entrees. Cocktails were extensive, enjoyable and well presented. Nice little spot.

An Exceptional Gin High Tea Experience at The Fox Hole Our experience at The Fox Hole in Sydney for the Gin High Tea was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We had the opportunity to try numerous gin blends, and each one was unique and amazing in its own right—an absolute treat for gin lovers! The service was top-notch. The staff were not only friendly but also warm and eager to assist, ensuring we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout the afternoon. Their knowledge of the gin offerings was impressive, and they were happy to provide recommendations and answer all our questions. The food was equally outstanding. Each dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly complemented the gins we were tasting. The attention to detail in both the food and drinks was evident, making this high tea feel extra special. We truly enjoyed every moment of our visit and are already looking forward to returning soon. Whether you're a gin enthusiast or just looking for a unique and delightful experience, The Fox Hole is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

We went here for the gin pairing dinner and was absolutely amazed. If your after a unique place that knows how to prepare tasteful delicious food paired with great service you should put this on your list of places to go to. Matt was a delight, his knowledge of the gins and level of service was next level. Throughout the evening we were given gin served over ice alongside a tonic suited to go perfectly with the gin. One of the waiters came round to each table giving an explanation and story behind what was served. Shortly after sipping on the magic of what is gin- the delicious food came out which was perfectly paired to suite the flavours of the gin. In short, I would say the following: Food - amazing, tasty, well presented, leaving you wanting more. Alcohol- to die for- they know their cocktails and they know how to match food with drinks. Service- next level. Overall- we will Definitely be back. We also wanted say Thank you to all the staff who we couldn’t see behind the scenes for making it run as smoothly as possible and to everyone who was involved in making this event come to life.
