Right next to the opera house, very convenient. Disembarking is easy and fast. Great views of the city
Come here for amazing FREE views! Visited Sydney many times but didn’t know about this place. Excellent tip from our walking guide. Head to Terminal passenger building , head to Quay restaurant but go up the stairs beside the entrance. The path to the tower is subtly partitioned by restaurant pot plants but the tower is for public access. The tower was always quiet when we visited and offered incredible views of the harbour plus those iconic Sydney structures. You could watch the bridge climbers struggle up in the pouring rain. The view is perfect when a cruise ship is NOT docked. Nonexistent otherwise?
Easy to get to Overseas Passenger Terminal from Circular Quay train station. The photos are based on views from Carnival Splendor Cruise departing the Terminal.
Well organised, yes you have to queue but thats part of the fun before cruising. Talking to lots of people at every point on your way through until you board your ship. Great views from the terminal building and along Circular Quay. The terminal has bars and restaurants within and round at Circ. Quay.
Not the best experience when boarding a ship. Long lines. Long waits. Staff however are very helpful and courteous. Waiting in long lines upon entry, then long lines upstairs at ship check in. Then the wait and long lines to get through customs. Sydney Terminal is definitely in need of some upgrades. Terminal cannot handle this amount of people arriving to board ships. Absolutely ridiculous setup. Has put us off cruising. Or buy a more expensive deal and get priority check in. Is it worth that. NO. Disembarkation can also be slow when having to go through customs
