Nice location, lots of natural light great service, ladies checked on us regularly and were very friendly. We had the tasting menu and the dishes were some of the most nicely plated we’ve seen. The butter oysters were delicious as well were the entrees ( squid/ calamari and eggplant) lots of flavours and textures. The mains were also very yum but we preferred the fish over the steak however have to highly light the autumn leaves aesthetic of the steak was beautiful. The dessert however felt like it didnt quite match the elegance of its predecessors. A bit too sweet and wasn’t eye candy like the other dishes. Overall very happy with the experience :)
The Botanica is gorgeous. It’s like stepping into a lush, floral, and heavenly otherworldly garden and then being treated to magical, delicious creations with all kinds of wonderful flavour combinations. We loved it so much we dined there one evening and returned for breakfast in the morning. The owner, chefs, and waitstaff are all genuinely friendly and helpful, and made us feel so welcome. We’ll be back again!
What a gorgeous restaurant!! It is definitely a vibe during the day or the night! Absolutely stunning! We had dinner there and between the 5 of us, had vegetarian, meat and seafood and we all loved our meals. The staff were beyond accommodating so we went back for breakfast! We both had the OGs (vego) and we didn't leave disappointed. They made my friend feel extra special for her birthday with some tiny cakes that were just sublime. Honestly, all the staff are genuinely lovely people and the food is delicious. Would not change a thing about our experience!
An incredibly sophisticated experience on all levels. I attended Botanica with a girlfriend to celebrate my birthday and enjoyed a stunning experience led by Sara and Abbey on the floor and Thai and team in the kitchen. The service and food were outstanding, so much flavour complimented nicely by the Laurent-Perrier champaign in our premium Bottomless Brunch. I absolutely loved the sourdough with the whipped cultured butter, roasted eggplant, glazed spatchcock and desert. The interior decor is absolutely stunning, we felt like we were in a beautiful garden party. Absolutely cannot wait to return. Thanks for making our catch up so fabulous! X
I had dinner at Botanica Restaurant in Vaucluse this past Saturday and I was genuinely impressed by both the service and the cuisine. As an Italian, I can say I have a strong cultural connection to food—and this was something truly special. The dishes were full of flavour, with a brilliant fusion of tastes that managed to be both innovative and deeply comforting. Head Chef Abby has done an outstanding job creating food that speaks to the emotions—every plate was a small journey for the palate. On top of that, the service in the dining room was exceptional. It was a real pleasure to meet Sara, the restaurant manager. She was not only incredibly professional, but the way she introduced the dishes and guided the experience made me forget everything else for two hours. A special mention also goes to the assistant floor manager, who supported the service seamlessly and contributed to the relaxed, well-organised atmosphere throughout the night. And the barman deserves credit too—he prepared some truly excellent cocktails that paired perfectly with the food and helped us strike just the right balance between flavour and fun. It was more than just a dinner—it was an experience, and one I’d highly recommend to anyone. A solid 5 stars from me.
