We got there for the Airshow, we had an awesome view from level 32. Room was clean and the spa was good as you can see out the window and watch the Airshow in the spa. Parking is excellent. If I had to criticise something, it would only be the Buffet breakfast. Pancakes would have been good and a couple more toasters as it got quite busy. All in all great experience.

We had a fabulous stay at the Novotel Surfers Paradise. Staff were all very friendly, and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location was great, so close to all the amenities we needed. The buffet breakfast was lovely. We will definitely return.

I never really write reviews but Novotel really deserve a 5-star review! Though we stayed in the heart of Surfers Paradise, my boyfriend did have some trouble sleeping thanks to the Surfers Paradise entertainment and sling shot (he is from Canberra). - Luckily, I am a great sleeper so I was fine lol. The location was perfect and we didn't need to use the car to travel anywhere as everything was walking distance and the 50c tram rides are so convenient! The room we stayed was clean, spacious and perfect for us. The spa was incredible and the views were spectacular! Overall everything exceeded the expectation! I've always loved staying at Novotel! Since we arrived, the staff at the front desk was very unfriendly. Rooms are very old and they lack basic amenities. Bathroom was a disaster, water everywhere. We also had a very disappointing experience with the front desk representative (and Indian woman) during our stay at Novotel Surfers Paradise. Upon arrival, I was met with a lack of professionalism and courtesy. The representative seemed disinterested in assisting me, and their attitude was indifferent, bordering on rude in my opinion. When I asked for assistance with an issue, they were unhelpful and dismissive, showing little to no concern for resolving the problem. Her tone was CURT, and it felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. Additionally, she and the other staff that day didnt provided information about the hotel amenities, which further added to my frustration. I expect better customer service from a hotel of this caliber, and this experience has left a negative impression on my overall stay. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the customer service at the front desk. This review is honest but still respectful, which is important for constructive criticism.

I booked for a stay at Novotel Surfers Paradise because it was close to the Pacific Airshow venue. It took only a casual stroll of no more than 3 minutes to walk to the entrance. I also booked an Ocean view room. So, I was able to view some of the actions straight from my balcony. Although the view was flanked by buildings, but because the room was on 22nd level, it felt as close and as impressive as watching from the beach.
