Fancy foyer gave me too higher hopes. Great customer service. Restaurant not open Sunday Mondays which was a huge bummer. The rooms were nice, especially the bathroom but on the small side. TV remote didn’t work. Coffee and tea but No cutlery in rooms, not even tea spoons. Bed was meh, pillows and toilet paper felt cheap. Good location. No toilet plunger in room 3.5/5

The auto check in system was a bit clunky and also a bit unwelcoming, although it would be faster than a face to face check in if it was a well running system. The staff were quite friendly, especially the housekeepers. Unfortunately the rooms left a bit to be desired, the rooms are rather small,as they are ex Ibis Hotel and later Student Accommodation rooms. The rooms were modern and nicely furnished but they were already worn and dirty, particularly hooks/walls, especially in the bathroom needed good cleaning (& a hook was broken) The tops of the wall-mounted glass dome lights were very dusty. The bedding wasn’t as clean as I expected from a hotel, and I found the wheels on the bed bases moved around too much, and didn’t lock. The kettle/or power brick it was plugged into didn’t work, and there was no phone provided. The bathroom had no exhaust fan, and the ventilation grill was full of thick dust. The rooms are overall “okay”. I wouldn’t recommend them to a light sleeper as they are not well noise proofed, and the aircon unit is very loud, but effective. The lifts are not key-card security protected, this includes the carpark level and accomodation levels. I found this odd. Overall, the hotel was okay and fairly priced. I’d stay here again if they cleaned the rooms and bedding better. Would recommend to those seeking a relatively decently priced small room for a night in the centre of Wollongong. The Hotel’s location is it’s biggest strongpoint.

Very small room and ensuite (for the price) but functional and clean with a relatively comfortable bed. The service? Pretty poor, every time we tried to use the restaurant and bar they were either closed or closing (at 8pm no less). The location is very good. The main problem is the price, $225 is too expensive IMO, and then to charge a additional $25 a day for parking? And WTAF to then charge a 1.5% surcharge for payment with a credit card? That's just gouging...

If it’s location your after the hotel is close to everything if it’s space in the room don’t bother they are small, room was clean, air conditioning was so noisy and can still here noises on the street. Plus was the king bed and pillows were super comfy. Also much to our dismay we were woken up by an emergency evacuation alarm at 615am which turned out to be a false alarm not happy after a big night to be woken on a Sunday morning in this way no direction from staff as being mainly self check in there was no one available for the price we paid was disappointed. The check in / check out process was however quick and easy but think I prefer to have reception available. No Iron in room either.

Great stay. Rooms & bathroom are small but very clean & good ammenities. Lobby smells great haha. Friendly staff. One minute walk from great restaurants, bars & shopping. Only one out of two lifts functioning. I had free parking with my booking but otherwise it’s $25/night or free street parking overnight (not during the day) - this pricing is a bit steep for Wollongong. Check out was a bit weird, there was a person at the desk however I was directed to do it myself on the computer? Overall I would stay again.
