Barbossa Bar is a bar and kitchen located in the heart of South Bank. Barbossa offers numerous cocktails, inspired Caribbean food, and the best wines, beers, ciders, and spirits in town. The bar has more than 150 different spirits and liqueurs. They also offer excellent beers, ciders, and wines from Australia. Three spaces are available for reservation: birthdays, work meetings, or any other celebration. There's something for everyone here! The Spaces Our spaces are available for individual or group rentals, and we now offer exclusive use of our entire venue, which can accommodate up to 150 people for a sit-down function or 200 people for a cocktail reception. The high-ceilinged and open-plan spaces provide an opportunity for guests to mingle, network, and enjoy a constant lively atmosphere day and night. Whether at business lunches or cocktail parties, Barbossa Bar has the perfect space for your next event. The Captains Den features its own private, air-conditioned room with a mix of seating, including stools, chairs, dry bars, and banquet seating. A large TV is mounted on the wall that's perfect for videos. The Sailors Quarters near Little Stanley Street features an undercover outdoor area, a mixture of different seating options that allow you to screen images on a large LCD screen within the area. This area offers great views of Southbank Park. Cannon Alley, located inside the Grey Street side of Barbossa Bar, is a stunning undercover outdoor area featuring banquet seating and chairs. It's great for more casual gatherings such as birthdays, baby showers, corporate events and private parties!
